Sniper Assassin: Final Game Walkthrough

Hi guys!! Finally Sniper Assassin:Final is out! I feel a bit weird right now... its like saying goodbye to someone precious.. Sniper Assassin is my first game ever... My first game that got so many hits it blew my head off... and now the story of Shawn is ending..

To all you guys who find SAF hard heres a short walkthrough :) You can view the detailed walkthrough on AG.

Mission 1 - There are four snipers the farthest one is standing on the roof the Mid-left building. Zoom in and shoot!

Mission 2 - Kill all the snipers shooting at you. One is hiding inside, you can only see the fire burst from his rifle.

Mission 3 - Shoot the power cable, shoot the wood under wheels of truck to make it move back covering the guard. Shoot everyone from left to right.

Mission 4 - Shoot all the snipers, they can evade your shot just be patient and kill them all.

Mission 5 - Shoot all the green part of the bombs, the farthest bomb is located at the left side of the screen, Zoom in.

Mission 6 - Wreck the car, no time limit just wreck the car.

Mission 7 - Shoot all the snipers, but beware, watch Marco's back there are 3 enemies who will try to move in and attack him from behind.

Mission 8 - Shoot the pipe head on top of the guard on standing on the roof to make him move to the right. Shoot him in the head and watch as his blood short-circuits the bullet proof window. Shoot the guy inside then shoot everybody.

Mission 9 - Depending on how good you are with this type of mission this mission will either be easy or hard for you. Just jump across the platforms, the leader will eventually reach the end of the platform where he trips and hangs on. You are now given a choice to Kill him or Save him. The next mission and ending sequence will depend on your choice here :)

Mission 10 - Kill: Quickly shoot the circular light bulbs to distract the guards in front. Quickly shoot them before they reach the bulbs and call for backup. Zoom in and shoot the bee's nest on top the guard standing under the tree, wait for him to be chased off the screen. Shoot the right flower pot to make it fall and hit the guard on the right side of the door. Shoot the guard on the left as he walks and investigate his fallen comrade. Shoot the two guards walking inside the mansion, make sure they are not looking at each other.

Mission 10 - Save: Kill all the guards, till you reach the end of the sewer, to open the door find the keycard under one of the barrels on the left side. Enter the numbers to open the door.

Mission 11 - Shoot all the attacking guards, game over if the all of the policeman is killed.

Mission 12 - Shoot Mr.J 3 times, do not hit anyone else.

Mission 13 - Shoot Lee, wait for him on one side of the tree, controlling your crosshair is really hard since you are shot so following his movements will make it harder.

Congratulations!

The ending will change depending on the choice you made, you can do another run or just enter the code "runaway"

Pixel Legion – Tactical Warfare Game

Are you one of those people that enjoy Chess, Game of the Generals, Shogi, and other strategy board games? Do you enjoy playing tactical warfare games and planning out how to do a siege and flank an opposing enemy? Then perhaps Pixel Legion is a game right up your alley.

This game is designed to simulate a tactical warfare wherein you order troops—or in this case, pixels—around the battle field and try to outwit and outnumber the opposing base camp. In this game, you own a base camp that continually produces troops/pixels which you use to attack an opposing team. The more troops you send out, the better your chances are for defeating the enemy. By defeating the enemies base camp, you win the game; therefore, you must also defend your base camp and not let it get besieged by enemy troops lest you want to lose.

However, quantity along does not decide the outcome of your battle. Positioning also comes in to play: when you attack an enemy from both sides, you gain the advantage and will be able to destroy them much faster. However, keep in mind that the enemy can and will also use this method against you; therefore you must always be on the move and keep your enemy pressured.

The game’s first few levels will act as tutorials to introduce you to the games concepts and tactical strategies. There are a lot more strategies that you can use like using buildings as hiding point or using towers as power-ups.

And if you think the game will get repetitive after a while, guess again. After a few levels, you will be facing off against not just one opponent but two, three and even up to eight for a massive free-for-all battle that will test you strategies to its limits. You have to have the right mix of offensive and defensive maneuvers in order to win.

And if that doesn’t challenge you, you there are still even more obstacles to face such as rivers which can either make your troops move faster or slower depending on the current. Position your base camp wisely and you will have an easier time defending and attacking. Likewise, a bad position can likely get you killed faster.
And if that wasn’t enough, you’d soon have to face hordes of enemies.

And battle the “King” and usurp the throne. After that, you’ll soon be facing 2 on 1 battle types and 3 on 1’s and a very difficult four against one battle with you at a terrible disadvantage. You will have to use all of your strategies and techniques to become triumphant.

All-in-all, it’s a good strategy flash game that will test your mind and skills. Albeit, it’s a little short and once you’ve gotten the hang of it, it’ll become easy to win, it is still a very enjoyable flash game. Test your brain’s mettle and see if you have what it takes to command your pixel legion to victory.

Hotel City – Facebook Game Review

So have you gone tired planting your crops in your farm or waiting for your dishes to be cooked in your café? Or perhaps you’re already bored of fighting other mafia and doing Mafioso jobs? Then perhaps the new entry to Facebook’s ever growing list of games would spur your interest?

Hotel City is a new game by Playfish, the game developer that brought you Restaurant City and the ever-cute Pet Society. This game lets you simulate what it is like to run your own hotel akin to what Restaurant City is to a restaurant. Sure you may not really be running the Hotel per se, but where’s the fun in that?

Hotel City allows you to customize your own hotel, build hotel rooms, and function rooms, and decorate it as you please. You can also hire your friends to work for you; remember a hotel cannot be run by only one person.

So how do you start things up? First of all, and this one is quite obvious, you would need to have a facebook account. Go to the application and allow it and you are now ready to start your game. Choose a cool name for your hotel, but don’t worry if you don’t like the initial name you gave your hotel, you can change it afterwards anyway.

Now you have complete control over your hotel. You can add more rooms since more rooms equates to more customers. You must also buy functional rooms such as gyms, diners, and bars which will add to your revenue. Buy a cleaning closet first since you will really need it. This will allow you to clean up dust and dirt that accumulates in your rooms. As you level up, the customers will be asking for more function rooms or else they will leave. Also, another exciting feature of the game is that you can hire employees. You can choose not to but they will cost more wage than by hiring friends.

Once you are happy with the look of your hotel, you can begin earning money by clicking the start shift at bottom left of the screen. You will then be asked how long you want the shift to run as well as how much you are willing to pay. After that, all you have to do is sit back and relax and wait for the shift to be over. Just be sure to remember to comeback after the time to restart the shift again.

As of now, the game still has limited features, but since it is still in its beta phase, this is to be expected. However, so far, things look promising for the game and will certainly become a hit. So if you want to have a head start now before the game becomes very popular, here are some tips and strategies you can do to level up fast:

1.Hire friends as employees - This couldn’t be stressed enough. Having friends instead of temporary employees can do a lot for you since you will be paying less for the wages. Also, this is a good chance to get them to sign up for the game and become you neighbor.

2.Have lots of neighbors – In connection to number 1, having lots of neighbors is also beneficial. You can visit you friend’s hotels everyday and you can get money in doing so. Just visit their front desks and you will see a bag of coins which is up for grabbing.

3.Always log-in when the shift is over – Each shift will last for hours depending on how long you chose it. Schedule the ends of shifts at times that you know you can log in. This will keep the money flow constant.

4.Click on the sleeping customers - Sometimes when you click on them you will get extra cash. However, not all of them will give you cash and which customer gives you is random.

5.Always decorate – Decorate your hotel rooms to gain more profits. Sometimes the customers themselves will ask for room decorations and without them, they might just leave. Spend most of your cash on decorating your room. Not only will it be fun to do and make you hotel unique, it will also give you more revenue.

If you are a big fan of the old arcade wing fighters where you blast enemy space ships to kingdom come using your own high-tech space fighter, then this game is right up your alley. It is the enigmatic—no pun intended—sequel to the space fighter game Enigmata. It features a wide array of ships, enemies, weapons, power-ups, upgrades, bosses, and achievements that will keep you playing for hours on end if you really have the time.

Enigmata 2 has a wide array of ships to choose from starting off with the three basic ships. Each ship has its own pros and cons—one has a higher shield power, the other is more heavily armored, while the last one has more energy available. They also vary in speed, maneuverability, power, and equipment capacity. This means that you can choose the ship that will fit your gameplay and can give you a unique experience while playing. As you reach new levels, you will be allowed to purchase more advanced ships. These ships are advanced versions of the three starter ships with roughly the same ratio between specs. The good thing is you can purchase more than one type so even if you got the heavy armored starter ship, you can buy both armored and high-shield versions afterwards. You just need enough money to purchase them. Money, of course, is dropped by enemies so destroy a lot of them if you want to try out all of the ships in one go.

As opposed to traditional jet fighter games, your ship does not only fire forward but can be controlled by your mouse. This gives you more maneuverability in hitting and avoiding enemy fire. You can even hit the enemies while you are behind them! Another enjoyable feature is that it has equipment and skills which you can purchase. Some add more to your firepower, while some are more defensive. Some upgrades can be used to better game play such as increasing gold produced or decreasing negative buffs that come from enemies. Skills such as stun all enemies, or remove all enemy shields are also very helpful and you will need them in the game early on to survive some levels.

But the truly amazing thing in this game is the achievement system. You gain achievements by completing certain tasks such as killing 100 enemies, or obtaining a certain amount of gold. Some achievements are easy while some are hard, others are tricky while others are just plain hilarious—like the non-random achievement which is given to you at random. Unlike other games where the achievements are merely trophies, in this game each achievement will give you an award of gold giving you extra cash. Also achievements are also used to unlock better skills and equipments since you will have to spend achievement points to gain access to better gear.

Also there are missions that you can get in game which, when completed, will give you more gold. Missions are usually destroying certain number of enemies. Fortunately, you can repeat levels after finishing them which will give you the chance to complete all of the quests.

Enemies are also varied from normal shooting ships, to heavily shielded ones, those that can teleport around the screen, and those that have superior fire-power. Bosses are also challenging with different skills, attack patterns and techniques. These make the game not only challenging but extremely enjoyable as well.

To help you along the way, there will be power ups that you can pick up while fighting. These range from extra shields, to armor, to energy, to weapon upgrades, and to missiles. Be wary though, not all bonuses in the field are helpful, some bonuses with x-marks on them will give you a negative effect such as stunning your ship, or making it harder to control.

So if you have a lot of free time on your hands, or would just simply want to play an exciting space fighter game, then this one is perfect for you. Be wary though, if you are an obsessive-compulsive type of person that would want to clear a game with all of the secrets and achievements unlocked, expect massive hours of playing this game. Fortunately, the more you play it, the more enjoyable it becomes.

BarnVille Massacre - Funny Game

Are you a fan of the ever popular Facebook game Farmville? Or perhaps you belong to those who hate it with a passion and would just want to shoot those annoying barn animals to kingdom come? Whichever side you are on, Barnville Massacre is a fun way to kill some free time and satisfy your need for some gun-toting action filled with flying cow meat and pig blood.

The game starts off when a meteorite falls on earth and lands on an unsuspecting barn that is very reminiscent of an ever popular farm (ville). A green explosion and ominous grinning scarecrow later, the game starts off with you as the farmer sitting on top of your barn shed with a pistol on hand. Your aim would be to defend your barn from the rampaging animals that suddenly wants revenge and destroy your barn.
Like all similar defense games, you will need to shoot incoming waves of creeps and try to survive to the next level. At first, the waves will be quite easy consisting of chickens and will progressively get harder as the game progresses.

Chickens will be simple as they only need to be shot twice. However, the next set of animals, consisting of rabbits, pigs, and goats are a bit tougher and will require more shots. Fortunately, after every level, you will be given the option to upgrade your equipments and you will acquire money from every creep that you finished off. There are four types of guns available with three of them having each an upgraded version and the last one being the ultimate gun bringing a total of 7 guns in the game. Each level of the gun varies from the next with differing power, quantity of ammo, and reloading time. Of course more expensive guns are more powerful, but the other guns are just as useful as well.

The game also features an achievement system wherein you are rewarded for certain things you have done in the game like finishing the first level which will unlock the starters award or killing of a certain number of chickens which will give you the chicken killer award. There are other achievements which you can unlock which make the game all the more thrilling.

Of course, you have the option to upgrade your barn. You can upgrade your simple barn into a farm house, barn then a mansion which will increase its HP. There are other buildings you can buy as well like the tool shed which will let you buy a carpenter or a farm tower which will let you hire Aunty. Carpenters repair any damage done to your barn while in game which makes it more cost effective then the repair option. Also, since it will regenerate you barn, even if you get hit by a stray animal, you will be able to repair the damage at once. Hiring Aunty on the other hand will give you an assistant that bombs the area with either a coconut or a watermelon—depending on the upgrade level—that can help you kill the incoming animals.

Word of advice, the game at its early stages will be fairly simple and straightforward. However, later on it’ll become much more challenging with the animals requiring more hits even with the saw gun, the strongest gun in the game. Not to mention they do a lot of damage which will certainly make your carpenters beneficial. The last boss for the game requires a lot of bullets and watermelons before it goes down and it has its own mob of crazy animals that can hurt your barn pretty much.

After defeating the last boss, the animals will go back to normal. Congratulations! Your barn is safe and you have successfully lived to tell the tale!

The Tarot's Misfortune Game Review

The Tarot’s Misfortune by Big Fish Games takes you on a quest to find the missing tarot cards of the fortune-teller Rosalie and to defeat the mysterious drifter that suddenly appeared in the town of Luzio. Armed only with her wit and resourcefulness, she tries to recover all of her precious tarot cards that are filled with mystical powers to warn and save the villagers as the peril draws near.

The game starts off with Rosalie receiving a late-night visitor that is asking for his fortune to be told. As she reads the mysterious man’s fortune, she is somehow put under a spell and put to sleep. She then wakes up only to find that she is trapped in the village prison and finds that her deck of tarot cards have been scattered all over town. The objective is simple: gather back the tarot cards and warn the villagers by solving various puzzles and finding clues to help her unravel the mystery of the Tarot’s Misfortune.

The Tarot’s Misfortune is a Hidden Object game wherein you try to find various items in a given area. Finding all of the listed areas will allow you to proceed to the next area where you will then have to find new objects hidden amidst the confusing scenery and scattered items. The game itself is far more engaging than it appears to be with the inclusion of various other puzzles that rely on your keen eyesight and wit as well.

The Tarot’s Misfortune is different from other games of its genre by making the game more dynamic. You will not only have to look for the listed objects in one area sometimes, two or more areas are interconnected and you have to find the objects in other areas to unlock the other items. Sometimes, objects cannot be found unless you do something to make that object appear or accessible. Another dynamic of the game is that once you find certain clues, you can store them in your inventory and can be used to interact with the other areas to unlock various secrets.

There are also other games and puzzles such as spot the difference games and the like which, upon completion, will give you valuable hints on how to proceed. The scenery itself is beautiful and is reminiscent of an old European village at night. Areas—or in the game’s case, levels—are also beautifully designed so as to make it pleasing to the eye. Objects are well hidden and merge with one another making the game not too overly simple but is not too difficult since one object is still distinct from the other. The game is itself is rendered in a seemingly 3D perspective wherein posts and fences will sometimes impede your vision if viewed at a certain angle and you will have to move left or right to see the objects behind them.

Accompanied with a good musical score, great graphics, and dynamic game play, The Tarot’s Misfortune can certainly get you addicted as you spend a couple of hours trying to solve the riddles and puzzles to help Rosalie find her tarot cards and save the village of Luzio as well.

Deep Blue Sea Game Review

The Game Equation is now following up its big hit Deep Blue Sea with a new and exciting sequel that is sure to keep you playing non-stop. 2 years after the events of its predecessor, Deep Blue Sea 2 starts off with Melissa getting a worn postcard from her sister Jessica—the main heroine of the previous installment. The message is written in secret code language that they made up when they were children and tells Melissa to go to Billinger Island. This starts off Melissa’s search for her sister as well as her new found adventure.

Deep Blue Sea 2 takes the Match-3 genre and takes it to a whole new level. It features over 200 levels of Match-3 puzzles in various places and dive spots. However, like its predecessor, it isn’t just your ordinary match to win set-up but adds a lot more depth to game play with the introduction of various artifacts spread across every level that you can salvage to get more points and finish the level. Aside from that, there are skills that you can use to help you out such as exchanging adjacent pieces even if they don’t match or making a whole row of sea critters explode. Each skill can be used many times per level depending on the types of sea creatures you match. This adds more strategy to the game since each match will not only give you points and clear up the exit but will slowly regenerate a certain skill which can make life easier for you. Of course there are more obstacles such as the chains which make that tile immovable until you make a match with it. Still, there are ways to move around this impediment by rotating your game board to make the artifact closer to the exit!

And if that wasn’t enough to keep things exciting, you now have the option to pick between different divers as you go along the game’s story line. Each diver will have their own sets of skills and attributes which can be used for different levels. After completing a level, that diver will gain experience points and, with enough experience, he or she will level up to unlock even more skills. Then there are the items which you can buy from the shop to extend your oxygen tank which serves as your timer or to destroy a 3x3 area to salvage the artifact faster.

Moreover, Deep Blue Sea 2 adds another twist to the game by incorporating Hidden Object Challenges. These are not integral to the main storyline but will give you additional items which you can use in those extremely hard levels.

The Press Demo of the game is still by far incomplete but despite that, it already shows great promise and lives up to the name of its predecessor and will probably top it. With various power-ups, the ability to rotate the game grid and an engaging storyline as well as numerous items, characters and skills to choose from, this game will certainly get you hooked as you search for Melissa’s Sister and uncover the truths behind the mysterious city of Avalon.

Dragons Slayers II - Defeating the level 15th boss

Dragon Slayers II was launched yesterday and already getting over 200 thousand gameplays. I was reading the player comments at addictinggames.com and I noticed that the players are finding it hard to defeat the first boss in Dragons Slayers II which appears at level 15.

So I prepared a brief guide on how to defeat the giant frog dragon :D

First of all, unlike Dragon Slayers I gathering food is more important. Food are deducted every round depending on the number of men working for you.

So during the first few rounds of the game make sure that your hauler collects at least 2 or 3 dragon carcasses. Do not end the round immediately, wait for the hauler to collect some food before killing the last dragon, but do not let it attack your tower.

Do not buy anything unnecessary, save your gold and upgrade your ballista to level 3

You need only upgrade it to level 3 so you can have enough money to upgrade your castle.

You should be able to upgrade your ballista before level 4. Remember to wait for your hauler to collect more food before ending each round.

After level 6 you should now have enough gold to upgrade your ballista to level 3. I managed to gather 220 food during this level. Save your gold from this point until you have enough to buy the carpenter's guild. Don't let your tower get attacked and do not waste your money buying repairs, just shoot down the attacking dragons with your ballista and wait for your hauler to gather food until you have enough gold to buy the carpenter's guild.

I was able to buy the carpenter's guild and recruit 1 carpenter at level 10. What's left now is to upgrade my castle. My tower will be repaired automatically by the carpenter so I don't have to buy repairs after the castle upgrade. Upgrade to stone castle then use your remaining gold to buy more carpenters.

Food collection will be easier when you have at least 4 carpenters, you can leave one weak dragon to attack your castle while your hauler collects all the food. Your carpenters can repair your castle quick enough that a single weak dragon cant do any harm. Keep buying more carpenters until you reach level 15 - the first boss fight.

You should have at least 14 carpenters before fighting the boss dragon. You should now be able to survive his beam attacks even if he continue firing it. But you need to watch out for the black balls, do not let your castle get rundown by them or its game over! Keep shooting at it for sometime and it will fly away - your victory.

Keep adding more and more carpenters to survive the other bosses, make sure that you keep your food inventory high to avoid upkeep penalties.

Hey guys, checkout our new game - Dragon Slayers an action packed castle defense game filled with dragons, bows and magic.

In this game you start of with 3 green dragons to shoot down with your ballista, you get coins with every dragons killed which you can use to buy different upgrades to make your defense stronger.

You start of by defeating 3 green dragons, green dragons moves slow and shoots down green stuff from its mouth that can deal 50 damage to your castle. A single arrow can kill a some dragon some - more shots are needed to take them down.

The dragons you shoot down are not made to waste either, the carcass is gathered by a hauling ship which automatically moves around the water and gathers the carcass it bumps into, each dragon carcass gives your dragons slaying army 5 food points.

Food are needed to maintain the number of men you have. If your food is less than what your troops needed, gold will be deducted from your gold stash. So, its a good idea to make sure that the hauling ship are upgraded so it could gather the food needed to keep your soldiers.

In this game you can buy upgrades such as main castle upgrades, ship crew upgrade or use your gold to hire strong mages and carpenters to help you defend your keep.

Different types of dragons will arrive as you progress through the game. Slow Green Dragons, Fast orange dragons, super fast purple dragons, strong red and blue dragons and more! So make sure your base is fully equipped to survive the dragon's brutal attacks.

Foxy Sniper 2! is officially out! Thanks to everyone who helped me QA the game, I would also like to thank the people from AddictingGames.com specially Joel Breton for his never ending support and helpful comments to make this game awesome.

The missions in Foxy Sniper 2 varies from simple to hard, this game is not for the trigger happy, you need brains to play this game. But if you need help in the game, here's a simple walktrough.

Missions

1. Party Daze - Wait for the blond guy to enter the third room before killing him.

2. Laundry Man - Shoot the guy wearing the spy suit - he's currently following three other guys in suit.

3. Threesome Gruesome - Wait for all three enemy agents to arrive. Then shoot the one in the car first, then shoot the others.

4. Train Pain - This mission is a bit hard, you need to shoot the third carriage with the grenade launcher. What you can do is shoot the launcher when the 2nd carriage arrives.

5. Pimp my Ride - Wait for the GREEN armored van to arrive. Shoot both tires, this will put the van out of control and fall into the cliff.

6. Fly Trap - This is not a shooting mission, your task is to control a remote controlled mosquito. Avoid bumping into the crowd or you'll lose power. Try flying on the right side of the screen, there are fewer obstacles in there. When you reach the man on the payphone, hover near him till the RECORDER bar starts filling up.

7. X Marks the Spot - Shoot the guy with the metal detector on the KNEE.

8. City Crawler - Shoot all the guards, there are 5 guards - one on the upper right of the building, one on the middle floor, another a few floors below the last guard, one on the lower right walking behind the blinds and the last one is on the lower left, his position is covered by the leaves.

9. WareHouse Warfare - Shoot all the guards, the guards will shoot back at you so shoot them fast.

10 Extra Warehouse Mission - Survive for 2:30 minutes. Your using an automatic rifle so spray bullets at your enemies. This mission is hard!

11. Dangerous Refill - Shoot the tires of the black minivan as soon as the mission starts, wait for the white van to leave the gas station, shoot the gas pump to blow it up along with the black minivan.

12. Uninvited Guest - Shoot from left to right, starting from the guard behind a huge tree. Shoot the guy up front last.

13. SnowStorm Accident - Shoot the heater exhaust, your target will come out to fetch the gas container, when he walks back towards the house shoot the gas container, it will explode burning your target and the cabin.

14. Hunting Season - This mission is really hard, now you need to shoot 5 speed boats with your RPG7. You only have 10 ammo available make sure to shoot accurately. You also need to watch out for your life since the guys on the motor boats are shooting at you... and you need to finish the mission before they reach shore in 3 minutes.

Thats it, watch the ending sequence and congratulate yourself for finishing Foxy Sniper, go checkout Foxy's room and enter secret mission codes shown on the ending screen.

First rhythm game of Ultimate Flash Game and I think it turns out pretty good. The game took me around 12 hours, these includes figuring out a way to make the animations synchronized with the music beat. Its not perfectly synchronized but I believe I did a nice job un trying.

Meat Mansion 2

Last night I compiled the final version of the sequel to the hit game, Meat Mansion. The development of the game has been delayed over and over coz of work and life. But the christmas vacation game me all the time needed to make progress, and now the release of Meat Mansion 2 is at hand.

I hope you will find this version scarier than the first, the graphics is a whole lot better than before. The rooms are much more detailed and there are more things to do and more enemies to kill. I did not change the sound though, the background music used in this version is the same one used on the first Meat Mansion.

Expect that Meat Mansion 2 will be available everywhere (not only here) if not by the end of this week, by next friday.

Viacom’s MTV Networks has a more than casual interest in those so-called online casual games.

The media giant is investing more than $100 million to develop more of these games. Presumably they’re good for more than wasting time at one’s desk during work. (Not that that’s something you or I would ever do, of course.)

MTV Networks has already acquired the No. 1 site for casual games,

AddictingGames.com, which draws 10.7 million unique visitors per month. According to comScore Media Metrix, those visitors spend an average of 30.5 minutes on the site during each visit, playing games that range from Foxy Sniper and Killer Whale to Rollercoaster Rush and Mini-Putt 2.

With such a big stake in casual games, MTV Network put together a significant study on the subject, with 3,520 interviews conducted among gamers from ages 8 to 60 in five demographic groups: kids and tweens; teens; young adults; adults; and boomers.

- You will fail this mission if you are trigger happy. The target is the puking drunk that shows up after a few seconds. Shoot his brains out!

Mission 3 - Fast and Furious (very easy to hard)
- The difficulty of this mission depends on how well you can shoot a moving target. That target is driving a blue car. There are 2 blue cars in this mission, a sports car and a sedan. It is stated in the mission that you shoot tha man driving a blue family car, so shoot the second blue car that comes out.

Mission 4 - Hostage (moderate)
- Shoot the skyline window to distract the terrorist, when they start shooting upwards, shoot them both in the head.

Mission 5 - 9 Balls (easy - moderate)
- Shoot the terrorist playing billiards, but make sure that you shoot the standing terrorist first, coz if you shoot the others first the standing guy will run the hell out of there. If your good in shooting moving targets this will be easy.

Mission 6 - The pickup (moderate - very hard)
- If you are trigger happy you will surely fail. The terrorist will pickup a package at the boss at the 3rd floor of the building. Wait for him to get the package and go back down the elevator. The elevator will stop at the second floor where your agent is waiting (the one wearing the suit) at this point, shoot the terrorist, time it just before he walks out the elevator. The guy in the suit will pick up the package. He will exit via the fire door, you’ll get a message to start shooting. Shoot everyone and your mission will be successful.

Mission 7 - Sweaty Fatty (easy to moderate)
- Understand the briefing, there are clues in there that will help you in this mission. To make it short, all you have to do here is shoot the air vent, the airconditioning will malfunction heating the fat bastart inside. He will open the bullet proof window exposing him for the kill.

Mission 8 - Snipin and Pimpin (moderate - hard)
- There are 5 snipers in this mission, wait for them to come out and shoot them all. When you got all of them, the pimp's limousine will arrive. Shoot him!

Mission 9 - False Leads (hard-very hard)
- This time you are riding a chopper, your targets are riding a yatch bound to port Catalina. Wait for the traitor agent to arrive on a helicopter, shoot them both. Shoot the gas barrels to burn the boat. You must do all this before the boat reaches view of port Catalina.

Mission 10 - On the move (hard-extremely hard)
- Quickly shoot the snipers in this order (if you are using a dumpster type computer, make sure that you switch the quality to low.

1. Shoot the one at the top of the building.
2. Shoot the one at the window.
3. Shoot the one behind the building.
4. Shoot the one behind the tree.
5. Shoot the one hiding behind the wall at the other side of the street.
6. Shoot the one located at the very top of the tower (upper right side of the screen)

Mission 11 - Air Raid (hard)
- Kill the terrorist without alarming other terrorist... a bit hard, you need to use a bit of common sense here.

1. Shoot the electric pole to electrecute the terrorist sitting above the metal box.
2. Shoot the rope holding the logs as the walking terrorist walks to it, this will kill the walking terrorist and the one standing on top of the metal container.
3. Shoot the terrorist on the roof.
4. Shoot the terrorist on the gate.

There you have it, you beat Foxy Sniper.

Taking a superhero from the comics into just about any other medium is a tricky journey through a minefield. Not an easy task to be sure, and one that has blown up more than a few folks in their attempts.

Sega and developer Edge of Reality are tackling the surly emerald hero with an upcoming game that blends elements from the film and the comic into an action game for all of the major platforms. We've had some brief looks at the game during the past few months, but we haven't had the time to sit down with the proper game until now. Sega sent over a fairly complete work-in-progress version of the game on the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360 that let us spend some quality time fighting crime and trashing a city.

New York, NY (AHN) -- Video games aren't just for sedentary people anymore. The launching of Nintendo's Wii fit is creating a new way to interact with video games; a physical way.

The Washington Post reported that since its release last year in Japan, Wii Fit has sold over two million games. The $90 game set, which includes the gaming disc and a balance board, comes with 40 different activities one can do while standing on the balance board, and the availability of the multitude of games increases the more often you play.

The gaming device is meant to improve the health of the user by getting the user to understand his center of balance. The theory is that one must be properly balanced to ensure all parts of the body are doing their job and no part has to compensate for another because one's balance is off.

The balance board can tell users that.

The game tests the user to find his body mass index by comparing his weight and height, and can figure out the level of body control one has. Then, it will tell you your Wii Fit age, and from there the goal is to improve. Wii fit will track your progress. For those who don't want everyone in the household to know these details can set up a private pin number so that others can not see your results.

The game offers activities like yoga, hoola hooping, rowing and skiing. All this is done on the balance board while you watch your avatar, called Mii, do the movements you are doing on the balance board.

The mastermind of Nintendo's beloved characters Mario and Zelda also created the original Donkey Kong. Now, Shigeru Miyamoto has invented the Wii system to include those who are not usually in considered hard core gamers, like women, for instance.

The Wii systems, which originally have been around for a couple of years, are interactive by allowing gamers to physically swing tennis rackets or stand in their living room and simulate bowling. These sorts of games have created an opportunity for families to play together.

Miyamoto told the New York Times he wanted to develop a game that would appeal to more than just those who are already avid video gamers.

The number one draw back, according to the Washington Post, is that Wii Fit is reportedly selling out of stores quickly, and manufacturers say supplies are low and they, so far, have been unable to keep up with the demand.

Finally after the long wait and thinking that there may not be another sequel to this games, they are now out and available for play.

I'm talking about the release of The Last Stand 2 and Tactical Assassin 2 two of the most addicting game ever created.

The Last Stand 2

The first Last Stand game ended when a military resque chopper arrive after days of surviving hordes of attacking zombies. The story starts when our Last Stand Hero got infected devouring the soldiers who rescued him resulting for the chopper to crash. Now the lone survivor of the crash needs to reach Union City within 40 days before the Union City rescue boats leaves.

About the Game

The controls and gameplay is still the same, you control the main character with W A S D, SHIFT to change weapon, R to reload and mouse to shoot. You still have to survive the night as dozens of undead attacks your barricade.

In this release at the end of each night you can repair your barricade, search for survivors and weapons by selecting the buildings where you want to do the search, each search requires some number of hours to perform, your aim for the search is not only to look for survivors and weapons to help you out in fighting the undead, but to look for supplies so you can travel to the next town.

In your search you can also find traps like gas tanks, land mine and bear traps which you can place on the map. There are also different types of weapons that you can find, like the chainsaw, uzi, AK47, Shotgun and more... not to mention my personal favorite... the Bow!

When you acquired enough supplies, you can now travel to other towns. There's a total of 3 towns you have to pass by before Union city became accessible, its up to you if you want to travel and search other towns for more weapons and supply but be sure you have enough supplies to travel to Union City... and that you have enough time to reach it.

Different town means different background, and I must say... the backgrounds they use in this game is really good. The zombies however doesnt seem to change per town but its ok, but it really suprised because in this game, when you see a zombie carrying a weapon like a machete or an axe, kill it immediately coz if it reaches one of your survivors... the zombie will whack the survivor to death.

The game is really addicting, a bit repeatitive coz you do the same thing at different towns but the change of background and finding new weapons fixes the repeatitiveness of the game.

EU Seeks Protection For Children From Violence In Video Games

Strasbourg, France (AHN)-The European Commission Tuesday called for stringent rules on video games to protect children from negative elements of the multibillion dollar industry.
EU Consumer Affairs Commissioner Meglena Kuneva told the European Parliament: "All consumers need clear, accurate information to make informed choices. But this is particularly about children, some of the most vulnerable consumers in society. Our clear message today is that industry and national authorities must go further to ensure that all parents have the power to make the right decisions for themselves and their child."

Among the negative influence of video games that has raised concerns among the public is the games' apparent link to aggressive behavior. A school shooting in Helsinki, Finland, in 2007 prompted some governments to ban or block video games such as "Manhunt 2".
The EU's executive arm said that 20 of the 27 EU member states now use the PEGI (Pan European Games Information) system to age-rate games, which the European Union helped to develop.

Adopted in 2003, PEGI labels provide an age rating and warnings such as violence or bad language. EU members Cyprus, Luxembourg, Romania and Slovenia have no system in place.
The commission said the video gaming industry "must invest more to strengthen and in particular to regularly update the PEGI system so that it becomes a truly effective pan-European tool," reported Agence France-Presse. The body also urged the industry to promote the PEGI system to avoid confusion caused by parallel systems and to regulate the sales of video games in shops.

Developed by Ambiera, Darkness Springs is a beautifully rendered flash RPG with game play similar to Diablo without the hassle of software installation. The only requirement is that you have the latest flash player for your browser and ofcourse an internet connection.

Story
Darkness has fallen upon the lands of Enthpia, and the members of the guild of Tolsor have evoked an adventurer to find the reason for the sudden darkness. The player is playing this adventurer, and together with the mage of Traor, he tries to find a solution to the problems caused by the darkness in Enthpia, such as the appearance of wargs, goblins and even scarier monsters.

Game Play
When you visit the Darkness Springs Website and click the New Game button you will instantly be transferred to the game, you just have to specify your age and choose whether you want to play a male or female hero then the game will start right then. No need for lengthy registration, waiting for email confirmation and stuff, you can go to the website and play the game just like any other flash games.

Your hero initially appears inside a dungeon, click anywhere to move your character to where you want him to go, in here you can also fight one Skeleton monster, just click on the monster several times to whack it with your sword.

Your mission starts upon emerging from the dungeon, a voice from the darkness tells you that you are evoked to find the reason of the sudden Darkness. Explore the town for a while, familiarize yourself with the surroundings, talk to town citizens by clicking on them, some of this citizens will give you quest such as killing monsters and finding several items for them. Rewards given can be money or items.

Game Controls
Game controls is easy, point and click - point and click, Q W to use items such as potions and magic scrolls, heroes can also fire different kinds of magic and you can perform it by pressing shift then click on the monster you want to toast.

My only problem is that I sometimes get confused when I try using magic, especially when you already learned numerous magic skills. The magic learned are automatically placed in skill boxes at the bottom right of the screen, to use a certain magic you have to click on the skill you want to use to make it active, or you can Press 1 to scroll on your magic skills... heres how it is set up.

Bolt of fire - Shortcut is 1
Bolt of fire level 2 - Shortcut is also 1
Bolt of fire level 3 - Shortcut is also 1

So if you want to use magic, press 1 to scroll along the Fire magic levels, press 2 to scroll along the Ice magic levels and 3 to scroll along lighting levels.

I think its much better if they made it so that you can set the skills you want to use in certain slots. For example you have 1 to 10 as magic shortcuts, you can just set lets say Bolt of fire level 3 on shortcut 1, Bolt of Lighting on Shortcut 2 and so on.

Same goes to the items, healing items are always Q, Magic pots always W others you need to click first to use or in case of magic scrolls, click then shift click to cast. Easy but its much better if I can place it in the 1 to 10 shortcut slot.

The inventory system is easy to understand, some items needs more space than other items, so its up to you to manage your inventory. Another problem with the inventory is that the potions and scrolls don't stack... I think its much better if you could stack 10 potions in one slot, this way I can go out of town with lots of potions and still have enough inventory to store loots.

My inventory is full already and Im in the town still(sob)

Though you can increase your inventory by upgrading to premium account, this will enable the use of the backpack (the extra inventory slots at the right side of your inventory screen). They should put a message like "For premium accounts only" when trying to put items in there to avoid confusion.

No Headgears?
Im a total headgear fanatic, the cooler the headgear the more I love the character. Even if it does'nt add anything in the player stats, as long as it looks cool then its ok :)

Weapons
You can use different kinds of weapons, Swords, Maces, Daggers, Hammers and Ax.. each item having different stat requirements and attack power. Some items are dropped by monsters, others you can pick up after defeating strong boss monsters.

You can buy and sell weapons, armors and shields at the Town Blacksmith, expensive equipments have higher attack and protection values but the requirements to use them are high. You can also equip yourself with magical items, these type of item cant be bought on shops but are dropped by monsters. Magical items have extra attributes like extra sword skill points and stuff.

Graphics
The map is design is beautiful for a flash based game, the environments are rendered cleanly, although there are some map flaws that I experience like walking on magma, walking trough walls and other small stuffs.

The map lighting is what I loved the most, it gives the gave the spookiness it needs especially when you are out there killing monsters.

The only problem I have is when it comes to character design, my hero doesn't look cool at first... yeah coz he is weak and have nothing on him very much understandable... but after getting out of the dungeon where I was evoked... I saw my clone walking around town... I entered a house and saw my self again... together with another one of my clone.. I just don't like the idea of having NPC's that looks like my hero. Its ok if you have repeated monster avatars but NPC's? well I don't like it... especially when the NPC's looks like the hero itself.

Meet my unrelated half twin brother

There are some unique NPC's in the game, the town mage, the town blacksmith and another guy that sells rings and stuffs. But you can also see them repeatedly in other towns. It would be much better if you have different NPC's, a farmer should look like a farmer, an adventurer should look like my clone and the hero should look different... unique from all the rest... coz I'm the evoked one! But since the game is still in open beta, this can be fixed in later updates.

Another thing that I found dissapointing is that my character wont change no matter what I equip on him... I wore a shied, but it doesn't show in the game, I wore an armor but my hero is still on his hmm... well still half naked... the weapon doesn't change as well, always using the same sword through out the game... and this is very important, the game will become more addicting if my hero looks cooler.

But everything else looks fine, the magic effects looks ok, I really dont know if you can play with the elements when fighting monsters... like some monsters are weak againts fire and strong againts ice and stuff. I tried if my ice spells can slow down my enemies but no changes seems to occur but still its ok.

Boss monsters should be given an overhaul, like giving them a different shade of color is a start, red monsters with packs of regular colored monsters = a boss monster... higher level and damage = more challenge and fun.

These is the only problem I found in the game, the repeatitiveness of avatars... and headgears.

Sounds
The music loops and sound effects in the game is ok, a cheerful sound when your in town, and an eary scary sound when traveling on monster filled maps... giving you the sense of danger and chills.

Final Comments
For now having this game in its beta stage I'll give it a rating of 7/10, today a little bud that will surely bloom as the time passes.

All in all the game looks promising its still in open beta and you can play it for free, an online singple player RPG that looks good and will surely look even better in the near future.

'Sims' creator lets people play god in new computer game

EMERYVILLE, California (AFP) - Computer buff Will Wright created a multi-billion-dollar franchise with "The Sims" video games that let people play at real life affairs such as dating, working and raising children.

Now from September, Wright will let people play god with his latest brainchild "Spore."

"The big hook with 'Spore' is that practically the entire game is user created," said Shane Satterfield, editor-in-chief at GameTrailers website. "'Spore' is really the first game that pretty much puts all the power in the hands of the player."

Players start as microscopic life forms competing for survival in primordial ooze and work their way onto land, where they evolve into creatures that build civilizations and rocket into space.

"It is still probably the most interesting question for scientists and five-year-olds: What is life?" Wright said, giving AFP an advance peek at the game, which hits US and European markets in September.

"It starts out as single-cell organisms and then you are eventually flying around the galaxy exploring new worlds, meeting other creatures and creating federations."

"Spore" is marked by Wright's loves for biology, learning, science, and science fiction.

A microscope, a moon rover model and a necklace of magnetic nuggets are among the knickknacks in his office at Electronic Arts-owned Maxis in Emeryville, California.

"I see a lot of games with a science fiction back story, but that is different than having science as their DNA," Wright said.

Players dictate how their animated characters evolve. Creatures can have scales, fins, wings, claws, extra appendages, additional eyes, or body parts in unexpected places.

The online game's programming gives characters artificial intelligence and figures out how they should walk, laugh, dance, fight or do other things based on what they look like.

For example, a creature given fangs will be more hostile than one with teeth for grazing.

"How they play the game has a lot to do with how they evolve their character," Write said. "My engineers have the tough job of figuring out how something will move before they get to see what it is."

Creatures pass on virtual genes to their progeny and build civilizations with cities, governments and economies.

"It is more of a social experiment," Wright said. "Science, economics, sociology, things like that are very fun to simulate in the computer."

In order to avoid what Wright sees as "inconsistencies" in online games in which characters interact in common virtual worlds, "Spore" provides players personal universes with copies of planets and creatures made by others.

The game culminates with what Wright describes as a "toy galaxy" for players to explore.

"We want players excited about creative, free-form play," Wright said. "Anyone can make the creative process part of the fun, much the way Lego is."

With the release of the original "Sims" title in early 2000, Wright lured women and other "casual gamers" into a video game market long considered a bastion of "hardcore gamers," mainly young men.

Electronic Arts announced this month it has sold more than 100 million copies of "The Sims", the world's best selling computer game.

The map and character design is very good considering that this is an online flash game.

The music used in the game is fun, different background music are used during the menu selection and on the race, the background music also changes when you picked and used the star powerup.

All in all this game is cute and smooth, though it slopes downwards when it comes to originality but heck?! the quality of the game makes the game worth playing!

Game Introduction:
Dark Days have come for the kingdom of Terradar. With the recent death of the King, there have been major rifts between the Royal Family and Nobles. Bands of traitors have been created and many have left the kingdom; declaring it evil and changed.

Game Play
The game starts with a cool animation where Darchael Cavalan introduced himself as the new captain of one of the soldier companies. After the animation the Battle map will appear, from here the basic tutorial for battle will start.

The game play is easy to understand, all you have to do is to call on your available troops by placing them into the portal. Each portal have a cool down time of 5 seconds so make sure that you know which set of troops you call first. Like infantry first then the long range fighters and so on. You win the battle when the base HP of your enemy goes down to zero. The enemy base will be damaged when your troops reached it (The white line on the picture).

Upgrades and Infantry building are between missions, you can choose to create a farm lands where you can cultivate the lands to gain more money or expand your land to gain more population. You can also build facilities like armory and church where you can train Knights, hunters and Priest. More upgrades will be available as the game progresses.

Powerups can also be used during the battle to support for your troops. Towers can be created to delay the enemy attacks.

Sound Effects and Music
The music used in the game matches the mood of the situation, a war waged country filled with sadness where few men search for the light of victory. The sound effects used are pretty much like the one used in Sonny, battle sound effects, victory background music all of them matches the game aura.

Comment
Just one comment on the battle sustem; I noticed that your troops lines up into the enemy, its like a one on one battle between men on a troop. Long ranged attackers wont attack the enemies being attacked by the knights, I think its better if they can attack the enemies being hold of by the knights.

Overall the game looks good, the story and animation is magnificent and the game play is easy to get a hold into.

Dungeons and Dragons Face Future - Online

NEW YORK - It must be tough to be 34 and already see your children overshadow you.

That's what's happened to "Dungeons & Dragons," the roleplaying game that for decades has drawn geeks to roll dice and pretend to be elves, sorcerers and other fantasy heroes. It has never quite become mainstream entertainment, but it has inspired roleplaying computer games like "World of Warcraft" to borrow its principles and turn them into a multibillion-dollar industry.

Now, D&D is borrowing from its imitators. The next edition of the game, due out in June, will for the first time be paired with online features that the publisher hopes will lure lapsed players back to the dungeon.

"That group that broke up in 1987 because you all graduated from high school and went to schools across the country? Well, you can get that old teenage group back together," said Scott Rouse, brand manager for D&D at Wizards of the Coast. The Hasbro Inc. subsidiary publishes the game.

Roleplayers have always faced the difficulty of getting together regularly, especially since the games are lengthy. But they talk warmly about the camaraderie fostered by the games, since the players cooperate rather than compete. Though guided by thick rulebooks, the games have an element of theater, with players using the voices of their characters. Not surprisingly, they're considered uncool by those who lack an appreciation of fantasy.

The new edition, the fourth since D&D was created in 1974, may do nothing for the game's social stigma, but at least players will have the option to commune online. Each screen will show the same virtual 3-D "tabletop" with monsters and heroes, and the players will be able to talk via Internet voice chat.

Wizards is also building its own social networking site as a Facebook or MySpace for gamers. The players will be able to create fantasy characters for themselves with an online tool. That streamlines a process that can take hours and dozens of reference books.

Wizards employees are avid players of online games, and the new initiative springs from that experience, Rouse said. It should make it easier to tuck the kids into bed, then "jump on the computer and delve into dungeons, kill monsters and take their stuff," as he put it.

D&D's influence on computer games was highlighted last month when the death of Gary Gygax, the game's co-creator, sparked reminiscences across the computer industry. A senior editor at Wired magazine even hailed Gygax as "architect of the now," seeing the game as inspiring Internet culture in general, like Gmail accounts and Flickr photo sharing.

Yet Gygax, who had not been involved with the game's development since the 80s, told The New York Times in 2006 that he wasn't much into computer games and preferred the intimacy and imagination of the face-to-face game.

"What tabletop gaming gives to people is a reason to get together with your friends and hang out and do a fun social activity together," said Chris Pramas, a former Wizards employee and now the president of another game company, Green Ronin Publishing.

Wizards emphasizes that it's trying to keep the good parts of the tabletop game. It will let players, rather than computers, maintain control of the virtual world. It's also streamlining the rules of the tabletop game to make it faster to play and more accessible.

D&D had about six million players worldwide last year, according to a survey by Wizards, though Rouse said the figure may be somewhat inflated. Many of those players probably yield little revenue for the company. The gamers buy books and sometimes miniatures, but only one player in the group needs to own a copy of each book.

Wizards does not reveal sales figures, but Pramas estimates the overall market for traditional role-playing games at $30 million annually.

Meanwhile, the massively multiplayer online (or MMO) game "World of Warcraft" has more than 10 million subscribers, most of them paying. Publisher Blizzard Entertainment, a unit of France's Vivendi conglomerate, doesn't say how much the game is earning, but a back-of-the-envelope calculation suggests it pulls in more than $1 billion per year. U.S. subscribers pay $14.95 per month.

Perhaps not coincidentally, the online features of fourth-edition D&D will carry a monthly fee of $14.95, though a one-year contract brings the cost down to $9.95 per month.

The new direction for D&D isn't risk free. "Dungeons & Dragons Online," an MMO game like "World of Warcraft," hasn't done very well. The game, run by Atari Inc. under a license from Hasbro, has less than 100,000 subscribers, according to various estimates.

The new edition of the printed game has already caused a rift in the D&D community. Paizo Publishing, an independent company that publishes popular supplementary books for the game, announced last month that it will not support the new edition. It says the previous edition of D&D is a better fit and will even create its own game based on that edition.

Then there's the risk that the future has passed D&D by. Many of the core fans that got hooked in their teens are in their 30s now and today's teenagers have a wealth of entertainment options.

"World of Warcraft has become the D&D of this generation," said Pramas, 38. "When I was a kid, if you were any sort of nerd, you played D&D. That's not the case anymore."

Jack Warecki, a software developer in Shirley, New York is also 38. He used to play D&D but has shifted toward MMO games — he plays "Lord of the Rings Online" at the moment.

"In terms of time spent and bang for the buck, MMOs just do it better right now, so I'm just not interested in roleplaying," he said.

All the same, he does find a "great social aspect" to the face-to-face game that's absent from the computer versions. And yes, he and his high-school buddies still get together now and then for a game of D&D. He plays a wizard who shoots fireballs.

A marvelous piece of art for the PS3 console, GT5 Prologue looks incredible with stunning graphics (making me want to dump my old car), huge selection of cars - and this time they included the Ferrari, yep the Ferrari Finally!!!

Everything in the game is so detailed. Especially the city tracks where everything feels exactly where it should be... playing the game is like touring in different places all together! Everything looks astonishly accurate, the cars.. Oh god the cars.. just check out the screen shots and you'll see what I mean.

The sounds used in the game is also detailed, different rev sounds for different cars, the background music fits the mood of racing its really really cool!

This game is worth the money and to think that this is just a demo... imagine that! this game is a demo of GT5, a full serving to tease your gaming taste buds!

Escape From Paradise Walktrough

This post have spoilers about the game be warned... :)

A luxury cruise ship crashes on an uncharted island in the Pacific Ocean. Lead the survivors of the shipwreck, set up camp on the island, and build a rescue object to get your friends off the island. Escape From Paradise is packed full of different games to play. Explore the five islands surrounding the main island and unlock new games that will help you gather resources and aid you in your quest.

When starting the game you come into the island to see a Tiki guy standing in front of you. There is also a tutorial on that guides you through learning some of the steps.

The first thing you need to do is talk to the tiki and that unlocks the axe. You then learn how to drag your castaways to the trees to cut wood.

If you hit the escape progress button you see a map and also a list of challenges not completed. If you talk to the Tiki guy you first went to he will continue to give you challenges.

Talk to the tiki to get your first challenge to collect 50 wood. Drag your castaways to trees until you see the axe symbol appear and they will collect the wood. Once you reach 50 you unlock the ability to build a small hut.

If you click on the build button and then click on small hut you are give a hut to drag around the island. It has a black background, when it turns green you are able to click and put it down. Then drag your castaway to the hut to build. I suggest keeping your one castaway cutting wood while the other one builds. You will quickly run out of wood and the castaway building will have to stop. Once you build a hut, one more castaway is added to the tribe/group. I always kept a few more gathering wood, then there were building, as the wood supply goes down very fast when you only have 50 available.

If you notice a bottle on the beach by the original crash site, take a castaway to it and you are taken to a word jumble game. Finishing this game unlocks a radio part.

Talk to the tiki guy again for another challenge. You can also press the escape progress button and be taken to the list. From there just click on the next challenge in line. You will be given games, hints, or different challenges. You know you need to go there if on the top right hand corner (in island mode) you see Current Challenge: None.

The next challenge is a game, marble toss. This game unlocks the shovel.

Next challenge is to build a well. Click on the build button, then on the water well. You drag this one over all the little water holes throughout the island. After you have placed your well, drag a castaway to it to build it. There is a green and red progress line on all the things you have to build to let you know how much more you have to go. Finishing the well unlocks levels in the minigame shipwreck, which is located in this area in the upper left corner. You see a boat torn apart with some stars under it. If you take a castaway to one of the stars you get to play the minigame.

THINGS TO REMEMBER: Playing minigames increases your supplies faster, i.e. wood and food storage. You also earn skill points that you can assign to a castaway to build up there skills faster. Keep your castaways happiness levels up. If you click on a castaway, you can see how low there levels are, hunger, thirst, sleep, social. If they are too low, just drag them to water, food, a hut, or another castaway for some socializing. If they get way low, they will decide to level the tribe.

Watch for X's to appear on the ground. Drag a castaway to the x until the shovel icon appears. The castaway will dig up a treasure. Mostly just some pages of different silly sayings. Sometimes food or wood. One time you get radio part #1.

Next challenge is to build 5 huts. This gets slow as you only have 50 wood storage. Each hut built enters someone else into the game. As said previously, it helps to keep a few on building and more on gathering wood. This ensures a wood supply as the ones building us it up. Completing this challenge allows your lumberjack to reach level 2 in skill.

Once you have 4 castaways take them all to the rock located in this area on the beach. It is a big one. With 4 castaways the will push it over to reveal a radio part.

Next challenge is to chop down the tiki. This is located North of this section of island. There are 3 tikis all lined up blocking access to the next area. If you take a lumberjack to the tikis the castaway will chop the tiki down, allowing access to the second area. Clearing this tiki unlocks the ability to build food storage.

Next challenge is to play another game that unlocks level 2 of carpenter skill.

Next challenge is a hint about radio parts. Next challenge is to build a food hut. If you click on build, then click on food storage. Completing this challenge unlocks fishing.

Remember to put your storage facilities (food and wood) next to their resources for easier access for the castaways. I put mine just inside the entrance to the second area right by the lake. Then the castaways fish and can bring it right to the hut.

If you go to the right side of the lake just to the point where you are next to the waterfall and fish you will hook a radio part.

Next challenge is a game that unlocks the medium size hut. When building this counts as 2 huts. Same as before, click on build, then the hut, and then you can drag it around until it turns green. Then build.

In this second area, you have a water hole up by the Diner minigame. Remember to build your water hole so the castaways can drink.

If you go just to the right of the Diner minigame you see a crack in the ground by a group of trees. Take a castaway to the trees in the corner to cut them down. This will reveal another radio part.

REMEMBER: Keep playing the minigames to increase your storage faster. Also to gain skill points.

The next challenge is to build 12 huts. This is hard because you only have 50 wood available. Remember to have just a few castaways building while the others are gathering the wood to keep you well supplied. The more huts you build, the more castaways you have to spread out amongst the chores. It goes slow, but it all works out well.

Next challenge is to gather 1000 food. Play minigames and have castaways fish. This unlocks levels in minigame by the Diner called tribal feast.

Next challenge is to play the checkers minigame, which unlocks wood storage hut. Again, click on build, then wood storage, drag around island until you get a green light. If you put it by trees, it is faster for the castaways to bring the wood to it. I put one behind my food storage hut and one in the first area by the small tree grouping below the shipwreck minigame.

Next challenge is to build a wood storage hut. This unlocks levels in shipwrecked minigame.

Next challenge is to build the bridge. This is located on the river that separates the second and third areas. If you take a carpenter person Level 2 to this area they will start to build. This allows entrance to the third area of the game. This unlocks your carpenter level 3 skill.

The next challenge is a minigame shuffleboard. Play the game to unlock something special for your tribe.

If you go to the pond just over the bridge and fish there, you will hook another radio part. Also, if you go to the tiki sitting in the middle of a grove of trees just south and to the left of the pond you will find another radio part. Take a castaway to the tiki to stare at it. After about 30 seconds or so of staring, the part will be revealed.

The next challenge is to gather 5000 wood. You need to build at least 3 wood storage huts in order to reach this level. If you play the minigames you can reach it faster. This unlocks level 3 skills.

The next challenge is to gather 5000 food. Again, you need at least 3 food storage huts to collect this much food. Also, remember to put it near the source. I have mine next to the river in the third area, you can actually get 2 of them there. This unlocks the fishing dock.

Remember to build your water holes in this section so your castaways have drinking water.

The next challenge is to play chinese checkers. Then the next challenge is to build a fishing dock. These go along the ocean, so you have to build the first one in the first area, as you do not yet have access the fourth. Don't make the mistake I made the first time I played the game and place it over the bottle. Then you have to access to the word jumble game or the radio part, but hopefully you have already gotten that radio part. I had not the first time, so I was stuck in the game and had to start over. Anyway, put this along the ocean line somewhere. Building this unlocks hunters to reach level 3.

Next challenge is to max a castaway. This means to get a castaway to level 3 in all skills. It if easiest to have the castaway work on something then go play a minigame to build up your skill points. You can then use these skill points and assign them to your castaway to help max them out faster. Once you max a castaway you have access to the firewalk game and entrance to the fourth level.

Once you are in the fourth area, you can get the last 3 radio parts. One is in the pond that is surrounded almost all the way by rocks. It is just south of the volcano between level 1 and level 4. If you fish in the pond, you will hook the part.

There is another radio part in the 3 tikis that are at the top of this area. If you notice on the heads of the tiki is a little symbol that corresponds to each of the skills your castaways have. Take a boy and a girl maxed in each of the corresponding skill levels to the respective tiki and a blue light (boy) and pink light (girl) will be lit and you will reveal the radio part. I had trouble with this one cause I used my maxed castaway. When I switched to one that was just maxed only in the skill level, it worked right away. Not sure why that is.

The last radio part is in the crab that is on the left side of this area. It is a big symbol on the ground with foot prints on it (6). If you take your castaways that are Level 3 in each skill level to the foot prints and arrange them on there, you will reveal the part. Again, I had trouble with my maxed out castaway, but once I used a skill level 3 only in the area castaway it worked fine. You know you have it right when the lights turn orange. I think you have to have the castaway maxed in carpentry boy and girl next to each other and so on around the circle. You can try switching out castaways until all prints are orange. Takes a while to get it and I think you have to have all the others one done first before you can get this one.

Back to the challenges. Play a game called Aces high to unlock the spear. Then you are challenged to gather 500 wood again to unlock spear hunting. With the spear and the ability to hunt you can take a castaway to the northern area in area 3 where you see a red flag and a pathway that goes into the woods. Take a castaway there to hunt for red meat.

Next challenge is a game of war. This unlocks the last few levels in minigame shipwrecked.

The last challenge is to gather 30 castaways, which you may have already done by building 30 huts.

That is the end of the game. You will then get a screen that you built your radio and have called for help. It will ask if you really want to the island or stay. If you stay, you have access to all minigames, if you leave, you start the game over.

A new game by neoraptor.com, the object of the game is to defend Mars againts alien invaders. Similar to most invasion game, you have to prevent enemies from reaching your base, your HP bar drops down as more enemies invades your planet, when it reaches 0, its game over.

Your defenses are based on two battle stations that slowly orbits around Mars shooting 4 missiles at a time. Sounds easy? well you got to play it to experience its challenging aspect... as you can see, not only are you fighting againts the 70 waves of alien invaders, but you also have to take into consideration the gravitational pull of the planet, sounds confusing? Well unlike other defence shooters where you can shoot at your enemies easily coz your bullets just moves on a straight path towards your target, in this game, your missiles are affected by the planet's gravity thus making your projectiles curve. So aiming directly on your enemy wont help coz you have to take into consideration the "curves".

The first few levels of the game are easy, but it gets harder when the fast ships arrived. By the time I got to higher levels, aiming becomes less of an option for me, I began shooting missles everywhere in hopes that some of them hits an enemy. The sound effects used in the game are ok, not that grand but it personally works for me.

Mario Kart Wii

Mario Kart Wii features a total of 32 courses to race on, evenly divided between 16 brand-new courses and 16 classic courses taken from previous Mario Kart games. You'll find a total of eight cups in the game, four initially selectable and four to unlock. We got to see four of the eight cups, two classic and two original.

The two original cups were the Mushroom and Flower cups. The Mushroom Cup courses were Luigi Circuit, Moo Moo Meadows, Mushroom Gorge, and Toad's Factory. The Flower Cup was made up of Mario Circuit, Coconut Mall, DK Summit, and Wario's Gold Mine. The two classic cup competitions, Banana and Shell, were composed of tracks from previous games. Banana featured Sherbert Land from the Nintendo 64, Shy Guy Beach from the Game Boy Advance, Delfino Square from the DS, and Waluigi Stadium from the GameCube. Shell included Peach Beach from the GameCube, Yoshi Falls from the DS, the dreaded Ghost Valley from the Super Nintendo, and Mario Raceway from the Nintendo 64.

A total of 12 characters to choose from, broken down into three classes. The light class is made up of Baby Mario, Baby Luigi, Baby Peach, and Baby Koopa. The medium class is made up of Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Yoshi. The heavy class is made up of Wario, Donkey Kong, Waluigi, and Bowser. As you progress, you'll unlock more racers, courses, vehicles, and, most importantly, support to use your Miis. Each racer will have three vehicles to choose from in the kart and bike categories.

Mario Kart Wii's visuals have a typically cartoony look about them with characters and tracks that don't appear to work the Wii hardware too hard. As a result, everything has a very polished and clean look to it with only a few noticeable jaggies here and there. It's nice to see the face-lift given to the classic levels, although the brand-new levels really promise to take the gameplay to new heights.

The audio in Mario kart Wii seems to be taking the same approach as the visuals and offers up the usual array of voice samples, sound effects, and music tracks. We heard the familiar cries from the usual suspects, with some new baby variations for the newcomers. The music tracks balance new content and nostalgia to match the in-game split of classic and original tracks. Our first impression of some of the new tracks is that there isn't anything too catchy in the mix, but we'll withhold judgment until we spend more time with the game.

So far Mario Kart Wii looks like it's got all its bases covered and then some. The overall racing experience has the solid gameplay that has given the series its longevity. The addition of bikes and new racers helps freshen things up some. The online features are welcome additions that should ensure the game remains in heavy rotation in people's Wiis for a good long while. All told, we were pleased by what we saw of Mario Kart Wii. We're eager to spend some quality time with the various game modes and online features to see how they all pan out. Look for more on the game in the coming months. Mario Kart Wii is slated to ship later this year.

Game Over for Gary Gygax, Father of RPG

Milwaukee -- Legions of devoted Dungeons & Dragons fans will roll black d20s tonight to pay their respects to Gary Gygax, co-creator of the hit fantasy game known for its oddly shaped dice.

Gygax, touted as the father of computer role-playing games, hit "game over" due to ill health on Tuesday at his home in Lake Geneva. He was 69.

Best known for developing D&D with Dave Arneson in 1974, Gygax helped formulate a pen-and-pencil role playing ruleset that would become a touchstone for modern gaming across its genres.

Players create fictional characters and carry out their adventures with the help of complicated rules. There was no game board in this interactive, imaginative adventure: just paper, pen, the dungeon master's rule book and a set of multisided dice.

An estimated 20 million people have played D&D since its inception, and many tabletop games, fantasy books and video games owe much of their inspiration to the sword and sorcery platform.

D&D spawned a booming industry and has inspired a generation of writers, video game designers and filmmakers.

Despite his failing health, Gygax continued to host weekly games of Dungeons & Dragons at his home, which is almost always filled with devoted fans.

Gygax also wrote dozens of fantasy books, including the Greyhawk series of adventure novels.

Besides his wife, Gail, Gygax is survived by six children.

MAC'S RETURN TO DARK CASTLE DEMO RELEASED

The long wait is over for the proud comeback of Return to Dark Castle, the craze among Mac gamers in the late 80s, after a website released its demo version for download.

Super Happy Fun Fun promises that the full game will be released "very, VERY soon" and in the meantime gave avid followers of Prince Duncan a taste of the Castle's much-improved gen X version.

The game has been in development for several years by Z Sculpt Entertainment. In January, Super Happy Fun Fun -- which developed the cell phone version -- announced plans to release the Mac version in early 2008.

Return to Dark Castle is the latest installment of a game series that originally appeared on black-and-white Macs in 1986.

A 2D platformer, the game puts you in the role of an intrepid hero who has to make his way through a castle filled with rats, flying bats, birds, haunted suits of armor, weird creatures on a quest to slay the evil Black Knight. Along the way you have to retrieve magic orbs and defeat your enemies using bags of rocks and other objects.

In 1987 it was followed by Beyond Dark Castle, and a helicopter backpack and an excess of explosives kept things interesting, if not addictive. Various versions and ports came out in years following, extending the longevity of the classic game even further. 1994 even saw a Color Dark Castle, still playable in Classic under 10.0 and 10.1, and 2006 brought a mobile version.

Return to Dark Castle sports more than 50 brand-new levels including all 30 levels from the original Dark Castle and its sequel, Beyond Dark Castle, remastered and integrated into a new quest. The game features new secret rooms and mini-games. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later, G3/500MHz or faster processor, 128MB RAM, 100MB hard disk space.

Fans say "Return" feels almost identical to its Mac gaming canon ancestors, with the same sharp controls and the old sound effects from 1986 and 1987

Thinking of a good game concept is not easy, sometimes you think of a game that seems cool but when you started making it and present it to the public - all the flaws that make it suck comes out. But there are some games that stands-out not because of its cool graphics and stuff, but because of its simplicity and uniqueness.

Sheepy - a new game sponsored by Armor Games is a sample of a simple game, with simple concept but has that addicting receipe in it.

Gameplay
Gameplay is easy, all you have to do is count the sheeps as they jump over the fence, pop out at the sides of the game screen and fly pass the skies and at the end of each round you have to enter the exact number of sheeps that shows up.

Seems too easy? well at first it seems easy but as you go further through levels and sheeps started jumping out from everywhere then you'll really feel the challenge. But its not as simple as adding sheeps to the count, coz if a black sheep happens to show up you need to subtract 1 to the total number of white sheeps.

So if 30 white sheeps pops out and 5 black sheeps shows up the total number of sheeps that you'll enter at the end of the round is 25. Each time you entered the wrong sheep count, your "snooze" meter falls down and if it falls to the red line, its game over.

Every three levels, the uncertainty pod shows up, this pod is like a slot machine game where youll either get a power up or something that will make the next level harder.

Sound
The sound is cute that well fits the game. The sound does not distract you on counting and is quite enjoyable. Nothing too flashy, no boings and stuff.

So if you guys are looking for a stress relieving game then Sheepy is a perfect game for you. Just dont let yourself fall asleep as you count the sheeps ok.

We love playing platform games because of the simplicity of gameplay and challenges it gives per level. However what if you play a platform game that is designed to test the limit of your patience?

Well Eggys Games developed this new game entitled "The unfair platformer" and yep, just like the title states the game is really unfair! well basically I find the game "fair" its just the amounts of traps the game has will really tick you off.

7/10 for game play - basic, move forward, backward and jump... move over platforms and stuff the only thing that changes is that in this game dying numerous times is normal.

3/10 for the story - I really dont know if the game has a plot, coz I stopped playing the game after dying over 30 times just to get to the 3rd stage.

1/10 sound - aww the background music really hurts as the game progresses - they should have included a mute button somewhere coz the gameplay is already irritating so please dont let our ears suffer as well!

Overall 6/10 - the game is fun and frustrating, although the score is not that high I still recommend this game. Try playing the game till you dont want to play platform games anymore!

Spin the Black Circle

Another puzzle game that seems easy at first but you'll eventually find out that the experience you gained playing the lower levels arent very much of help on the later levels.

This challenging game is created by Alejandro Guillen - the object of the game is pretty simple, all you have to do is reach the exit portal, to do this you must rotate the whole maze clockwise or counter clockwise to move the ball to the exit.

Easy? I dont think so, coz if its easy this game will suck, during my first try my ball exploded 3 several times just because I havent got the hang of how fast I need to rotate the maze. The more I play the more complicated the maze gets, more spikes, sharper corners and more stuff to annoy you.

The game play is basic - Left Arrow key to rotate to the left, Right Arrow key to rotate to the right.. thats pretty much it.

Just a quick note, you might get a bit dizzy from playing this game too long, I myself need to stop for a few minutes or get a breath of fresh air before continuing.

Square Enix just keeps on exciting the gaming fans by releasing beautiful looking screenshots and game trailers. Check out Final Fantasy Versus XIII an action role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix exclusively for the Sony PlayStation 3 video game console.

Alongside Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Agito XIII, the game is a part of the Fabula Nova Crystallis Final Fantasy XIII compilation. Unveiled at E3 2006, the game focuses on a mysterious protagonist, the last heir of a dynasty ruling over the only remaining city in the world to control crystals. Under unforeseen circumstances, he is forced to make a stand when his kingdom, people, and its crystals come under attack from marauders seeking to conquer the city and take the crystals as their own.

According to developers of the game, the game is not a sequel nor a prequel to other Final Fantasy XIII entries, but a wholly independent story unfolding with different characters and visual designs. According to Square-Enix, each title takes place in the same universe, but are not directly related.

The game is directed and designed by Tetsuya Nomura, who previously directed and designed the Kingdom Hearts series with Yoko Shimomura scoring the music and Shinji Hashimoto handling the production. A trailer of the game has been screened at both the E3 2006 expo and the Tokyo Game Show, and is now available to the public.

Square-Enix has shown a new trailer in a closed mega theater at Jump Festa, with new action footage showing the protagonist fighting against the soldiers. A new trailer shown at the Square Enix Party shows even more new footage as the protagonist fights against a new character in white who uses magic.

Very little information regarding the design or plot of the game has been revealed as yet, although Square Enix representatives have stated that it will be primarily action-oriented and may be the darkest Final Fantasy yet. From an interview with Nomura in Dengeki PlayStation 2 magazine, he has stated that he aims to create previously unseen "tricky" battle sequences, reminiscent of the CGI film, Final Fantasy VII Advent Children. Various websites such as IGN have speculated that the game might be released sometime in 2008

Heath Ledger Found Dead...

Not a post about gaming, I just cant help it... Heath Ledger is one of my favourite actors and I really feel depressed about this. He was awesome in the First Knight, The Patriot and he even do a really good job in the controversial film - Brokeback Mountain.

I'm really excited of his upcoming Batman Movie where he plays as the joker... but now that he's dead, I dont know if theyre going to do a re-cast or something... but if the film is already done they should just put it out as a tribute to him.

Heath Ledger was found dead at an apartment due to drug overdose.

The actor Heath Ledger was found dead this afternoon in an apartment in Manhattan, according to the New York City police. Signs pointed to a suicide or an accidental overdose, police sources said. Mr. Ledger was 28.

At 3:31 p.m., according to the police, a masseuse arrived at the fourth-floor apartment of the building, at 421 Broome Street, between Crosby and Lafayette Streets in SoHo, for an appointment with Mr. Ledger. The masseuse was let in to the home by a housekeeper, who then knocked on the door of the bedroom Mr. Ledger was in. When no one answered, the housekeeper and the masseuse opened the bedroom and found Mr. Ledger naked and unconscious on a bed, with sleeping pills — both prescription medication and nonprescription — on a night table. They moved his body to the floor and attempted to revive him, but he did not respond. They immediately called the authorities.

The police said they did not suspect foul play. Ellen Borakove, a spokeswoman for the office of the city’s chief medical examiner, Dr. Charles S. Hirsch, said that employees of the office were at the apartment and that an autopsy would be conducted on Wednesday. Around 6:30 p.m., city workers rolled Mr. Ledger’s body, in a black body bag on a stretcher, out of the building.

Paul J. Browne, the Police Department’s deputy commissioner for public information, initially said that the apartment was owned by the actress Mary-Kate Olsen, but later reversed himself and said that was not the case.

A representative of Ms. Olsen said that the apartment did not belong to the actress. “It is not her apartment,” the representative, Annette Wolf, a publicist for Ms. Olsen, said in a phone interview. “She does not own the apartment. She has never owned the apartment. She and her sister have an apartment in New York City but they are not in this building.”

Heathcliff Andrew Ledger was born April 4, 1979 to Sally Ledger, a French teacher, and Kim Ledger, an engineer. Named after the main characters of Emily Brontë’s “Wuthering Heights.” He and his older sister, Katherine, grew up in Perth, Australia; his parents were divorced when he was about 10. As a student, he joined a local theater company and appeared in a production of “Peter Pan,” which led to his being cast in children’s television programs.

Mr. Ledger’s first Hollywood film was the teenage romantic comedy “10 Things I Hate About You” (1999). He later appeared in romantic-hero roles in films like “A Knight’s Tale” (2001) and “Casanova” (2005).

But the role for which Mr. Ledger was probably best known by American audiences was in “Brokeback Mountain” (2005). The film, based on a short story by Annie Proulx about two cowboys who fall in love, won critical acclaim. Reviewing the film in The New York Times, the critic Stephen Holden wrote, “Mr. Ledger magically and mysteriously disappears beneath the skin of his lean, sinewy character. It is a great screen performance, as good as the best of Marlon Brando and Sean Penn.” Mr. Ledger was nominated for an Oscar for Best Actor in January 2006.

Mr. Ledger met the actress Michelle Williams while filming ‘’Brokeback Mountain.” The two actors fell into a romance and moved to Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, where their comings and goings were widely noted by the celebrity press. They had a daughter, Matilda Rose, who was born on Oct. 28, 2005. The couple separated last year.

In an interview in London for an article published in November, Mr. Ledger told The New York Times, ‘’I feel like I’m wasting time if I repeat myself.” He said in the interview that he was not proud of his latest role, in Todd Haynes’s “I’m Not There,” in which Mr. Ledger was one of a half-dozen actors depicting the musician Bob Dylan. ‘’I feel the same way about everything I do. The day I say, ‘It’s good’ is the day I should start doing something else,” he said in the interview.

Mr. Ledger had been cast as The Joker in the latest Batman installment, “The Dark Knight,” set to be released this summer.

As news of Mr. Ledger’s death made its way across the Internet, the Police Department issued a fairly terse summary of the death: “ON TUESDAY, 01/22/08, AT APPROXIMATELY 1530 HOURS, IN THE CONFINES OF THE 5 PRECINCT, POLICE RESPONDED TO 421 BROOME STREET AND FOUND A M/W/28 UNCONSCIOUS. THE VICTIM WAS PRONOUNCED DOA AT THE SCENE. M.E.’S OFFICE TO DETERMINE THE CAUSE OF DEATH. INVESTIGATION CONTINUES.”

Calls by The Times to Mara Buxbaum, a publicist for Mr. Ledger, and Steve Alexander, the actor’s agent, were not immediately returned this afternoon.

The building at 421 Broome Street was sold for $4.8 million in 1999 by Ho Hwa Properties Inc. to Red Tulip, L.L.C. Calls to a phone number listed for Junia Hissa Neiva, a Brazilian painter who is listed as an owner of Red Tulip and of the building, went to an answering machine that was full and could not accept new messages.

Julie McIntosh, a hair stylist in a SoHo salon a few doors down from the apartment building said this afternoon that she saw Mr. Ledger once or twice a week and had twice seen him going on walks with his young daughter. “I think it’s really sad,” Ms. McIntosh said. “He’s a really nice guy. He seemed happy.” A month ago, she said, she chatted with Mr. Ledger in front of the salon and asked him, “When are you going to come in and let me wash your hair?” Ms. McIntosh said she believed Mr. Ledger had been living in the area for several months. “He always said hello,” she said.

Outside Ms. Williams’s house in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn, this evening, residents expressed shock at Mr. Ledger’s death. Elliott Puckett, an artist who lives in neighborhood, said, “That’s terrible. I used to see them with their dry cleaning and their baby. It’s really sad.”

Emily Ekman, a student who lives in Boerum Hill, said, “I knew Michelle. I’m blown away. I hope she’s O.K. She must be really upset.”

Elise Harris, who lived across the street from Ms. Williams and Mr. Ledger, said, “I’d met them. They were very nice, with their daughter. I think shock is the reaction. I didn’t even know he was on drugs, but that’s the kind of thing you don’t know unless you are in that circle. He was a nice guy, attractive, very friendly.”

A block away, at the Brooklyn Inn, the manager, Jason Furlani, said, “Obviously we’re shocked that it happened. We knew that he was in the neighborhood. I saw him around with his wife and daughter in the neighborhood, just normal folks. It’s a tragedy.”

The game can be controversial in a way that the image of the gods and how they use their powers are from the imagery of the game developers.

The game is not intended to be offensive towards religions in particular. The developers of Faith fighters aim is to push the gamers to reflect on how religions are often instrumentally used to justify conflicts.

The game itself is not bad, although the music seems repetitive, the animation and special moves are done pretty well. I also love how the background gets destroyed whenever a character performs his special move or it gets crushed by the a fallen character. You can choose to play as God, Jesus, Buddha, Buddai, Ganesha or Muhammad. The special moves of each characters are performed before every fight so you dont have to write down the moves list.

Dragon Ball Z Burst Limit

A treat to all Dragon Ball Z fans out there, Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit is a video game based on the very popular anime series Dragon Ball Z. The game is being released for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 game consoles and is announced touch the North American shores this January of 2008.

The game follows the Budokai series where you fight in a large 3D space where everything is destructible, with a bunch of Dragonball Z cast with different combo and Ki Blast. The new release however takes advantage of the graphical power of Playstation 3, from what we can see in the video the Ki blast and character designs and background animations are more defined.

However in the previews the game story seems reach only up to the Cell Saga... which really sucked if it really does. Imagine how many characters are left out if they do that?! Majin Buu, Magin Vegeta and more. Its ok if they dont include the Super Saiyan 4 characters since they are part of the Dragon Ball GT series and not Dragon Ball Z.

The gameplay however seems the same with the Budokai series, the same exciting stuff at first but became a bit tiring because it repetitive and you do the same controls for all characters. But with the enhanced graphics, I still recommend this game especially to avid DBZ fans.

War Rock - a rocking FPS

A mixture of MMORPG and Counterstrike this new FPS (First Person Shooter) game now currently in its Beta Stage will surely capture your attention. As a fond counterstrike player this game rules not only because it has the counterstrike feel on it the MMORPG side of it makes it more exciting.

Map Design I give this an 8/10, maps are rendered beautifully, hiding places, open areas and choke points are well placed. You can never get lost even when you’re playing in huge maps and map details although not that great but I guess its ok.

Player design an average 6/10. Although maps are rendered beautifully, characters looks average, there's always a girl medic, Engineers are next to useless and heavy weapon infantries looks scary but nonetheless they’re not. Snipers and Assault infantries seems like the main characters in the game, some use medics not because they want to assist other players but because medics can heal themselves in the middle of combat.

I don’t know if it’s a flaw but when a player died the bones in their body seems to evaporate, you can see dead players in very awkward position (back of the head touching the soles of the feet), and if you died and fell from a high terrain like a hill for example you’ll find your player rolling like it’s made out of rubber.

Game play I give it an 8/10, I really like the way players roll forward and back then shoots at its enemies like in the movies. It’s also a good thing that they add a stamina bar to control these actions, or players will end-up rolling from point A to point B, the stamina bar also prevents players from bunny hopping. Shooting accuracy is good, but becomes flawed because of the constant server lag which is one of the problems that this game faces. You can see players’ teleporting from one point to another because of lag, and you can also find yourself dead even though no one seems around- just because the player that killed you already left your view.

Spectacular Vehicles – the ability to drive around in motorcycles, tanks, military jeeps, helicopter and jets really gave this game added enjoyment. You can drive your jeep to the enemy base and have a designated shooter blast away at your enemies using the jeep’s machine gun, or waste your enemies with cannons. Driving the vehicles is easy, ASWD to move and mouse to position the view. Some a bit complicated like the helicopter.

Player Leveling – another cool feature that this game have is that your player levels as you kill other players and win games (giving it the MMORPG feel with no quest...). You also win Dinar (money) which you can use to rent – yes rent ammunition for a specific timeframe. The game is also free to play with options to purchase stuffs if you want an edge over your enemies. But for now the leveling only takes you up to that point where your rank goes higher and you are rewarded with money. I think it’s a really good idea if they include weapons exclusive for high ranking players, or vehicles that can only be driven by high rank players, this way players can look up into leveling their characters.

Sound 7/10 – nothing spectacular about the sounds, but I like the sound of chaos when gunfire and vehicle cannons are fired everywhere.

Overall the game is promising but because it’s still in its beta stage expects numerous in game bugs, the game already have a huge community so finding a game room is easy and best of all the game is FREE FOREVER so this is a good game for people with low budget but in need of a good game to satisfy their thirst for entertainment.

Atlus' new role playing game (RPG) for the PS2 opens with a scene of bustling city streets. A blue-haired high school boy steps from a train just as the clock ticks midnight and time stops. He makes his way to his newly-assigned dorm, passing coffins and stepping in blood-reflected puddles. Once inside, he signs a contract to bear responsibility for his actions and thus he unknowingly takes on the fate of humanity.

Every night at midnight, time stops for everyone but your blue-haired protagonist, a handful of high school allies and an army of demons. These demons, or Shadows, prey on your frozen-in-time neighbors. It is up to you and your allies to return the small world to a sweeter, demon-less status before the end of the year.

Back to school
Like nearly every other RPG, your actions are driven by stats and victories. Yet, only half of Persona 3 is spent fighting. Your character passes much of the game inside Gekkoukan High, making friends, failing midterms and listening (or not) to boring professors.

Really, it's not that bad. Your character breezes through the school day by skipping uneventful lunch periods and classes. (Time only slows when necessary, and for the most part it's worth reliving painful grade-school memories.) By listening to your peers complain about life's Catch-22s, you open dozens of stat-enhancing side quests. Even if you're not a fan of reliving your high school days, the relationships you create and maintain are always well-rewarded.

During the Dark Hour
The real action occurs, however, during the Dark Hour. You return to school only to find it transformed into the taller, darker Tartarus Tower. To fight the Shadows, your allies shoot themselves in the head to evoke pent-up guardian forces — an action guaranteed to floor you at first sight and the main culprit of the game's "Mature" rating. You can choose to use up all four character slots or to go it alone. Combat features amusing tactics that shake up the monotony of turn-based systems. My favorite, the "all out attack," sends all allies at the enemy in a chaotic cloud of flailing bodies and comic-esque 'WHAM's and 'THUMP's.

Like previous Megami Tensei titles, Persona 3 heavily emphasizes battle strategy. Exploiting enemy weaknesses gives you (and your enemies) extra turns, making it possible to take out four enemies in a slew of well-planned attacks. The series' signature Personas also make a reappearance. With the aid of Igor and his Velvet Room hostess, you are able to fuse Personas in order to create powerful new entities and spells.

Yet the battle system has its flaws. The most appalling is that the computer controls all teammates except the your character. You can give blanket orders to your allies, but detailed commands are impossible. Thankfully, you're not working alongside some dumbed-down AI; the only real downsides are encountered during those rare 'everything goes bad' situations, like when all other teammates are poisoned and on the brink of KO.

One bonus of computer-controlled teammates is that they make dungeon exploring a quicker, less painful ordeal. You can order your teammates to split up and search Tartarus levels for Shadows, treasure or access points without your painstaking guidance.

Blood, guts and gore
Persona 3 is certainly no Final Fantasy relic when it comes to graphics and sound, but it thumbs its nose at the traditional feel-good RPG themes. Its disturbing anime in-game illustrations and cut scenes set the dark mood. The graphics flit between cheerfully normal school backdrops to the unnerving fountains of blood and gothic masks, keeping you on edge and constantly awaiting the next horror.

You'll see a similar transformation is the game's soundtrack. The switch from gothic Tartarus songs to more j-pop and retro-esque tunes keeps the music fresh. Character voices bring their personalities to light, bringing the panic, excitement and humor in every situation.

If you've time to kill, Persona 3 offers enough to discover, befriend and fuse to last many Tartarus years.

Floyd Mayweather defeats Ricky Hatton

Ricky Hatton made a brave stand in his challenge for the World Boxing Council (WBC) and Ring magazine welterweight championships this morning at the MGM Grand Garden Arena but the disparity in class was always apparent and the supreme ring intelligence of Floyd Mayweather, simply and brutally, was too much for him to overcome.

In the 10th round, after Hatton had been subjected to a frustrating and painful beating, Mayweather landed a left hook which knocked Hatton to the floor. He rose, groggily, but Mayweather’s follow-up salvo forced referee Joe Cortez to intervene 35 seconds into the round, just as Hatton fell to the canvas again.

It was a sad end to an electrifying, energising week in which an estimated 20,000-plus travelling support from Britain took over the famous Las Vegas trip, convinced that their man could triumph over the 30-year-old Las Vegas resident, regarded as the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world.

But conquering Mayweather was far beyond the Mancunian, who allowed the highly charged atmosphere to get the better of him. His tactics were flawed and played into the American’s capable hands. Hatton was picked off by precise and damaging punches from early in the fight and his aggression and smothering effort was largely ineffective. By the time of the stoppage, Mayweather was ahead on the judges’ scorecards by margins of 89-81 twice and 88-82, reflective of the champion’s superiority.

“I feel all right and I felt really big and strong but I left myself open,” Hatton said. “He’s better and more clever on the inside than I thought he was, with the elbows, forearms and the shoulders he used. I felt all right till he got me with the cut [in the third round]. I thought I was doing well and was in the fight. I didn’t stick to my game-plan. I don’t think he’s the hardest puncher but he was more clever. I’ll be back, don’t worry. Sorry everybody.”

Hatton had nothing to apologise for, he simply encountered a better man. David Beckham and Tom Jones, who sang the national anthem, led a host of stars at ringside, including Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Tiger Woods, Lennox Lewis, Sugar Ray Leonard and Will Farrell but the real star of the show was Mayweather. From the moment he caught Hatton with a left hook as he came in early in the opening round, it was clear that he had Hatton’s measure. Predictably, Hatton gave it his all, constantly moving forward and trying to bore in to a position up close where he thought that he could unload on the champion's head and torso. But Mayweather was too fast and, ultimately, too powerful.

A big right hand stopped Hatton in his tracks in the second round and, despite landing with a right and left hook inside in the third, the Mancunian was struck over his right eye by a slashing right hand which opened a cut just over the eyelid. Cutsman Mick Williamson, his cuts man, staunched the flow of blood into Hatton’s eye between rounds.

In the fourth and fifth rounds Hatton managed to close the distance and Mayweather did not inflict any major damage but, controversially, in the sixth the referee deducted a point from Hatton, apparently for aiming a rabbit punch at the back of Mayweather’s head. But the right hand which Hatton threw after Mayweather had turned his back actually connected with the top rope and Hatton was disgusted by the referee’s actions, showing his backside to Mayweather in response.

ayweather raised his performance in the eight round, opening up on Hatton with impunity, causing the challenger’s legs to buckle with a big right cross to the chin. He sickened Hatton further with hard and fast jabs in the ninth and in the 10th he threw his left hook they way that Sugar Ray Robinson used to do. It caught Hatton on the point of the jaw and he went down. He got up unsteadily but the referee allowed him to continue after he issued a mandatory eight-count. Mayweather moved in for the finish, landing two left hooks and a right hand to the chin and missing with a left as the referee waved it over, Hatton teetering over and landing flat on his back from the delayed effects of Mayweather’s final onslaught.

“He’s definitely the toughest competitor I’ve ever faced,” said the winner, graciously. But Mayweather was tough, too, and just too good.

If you are looking for a game to quench your office or home boredome, then I got a great game for you. The title of the game is Pacxon, sound familiar? Yeah coz its another pacman rendition but with a beautiful twist from the original pacman gameplay.

The object of the game is simple, move pacman around the stage and avoid the ghosties, as you pass through the empty space you leave a trail of blocks, all you have to do is to cover 75% of the empty space with these blue blocks.

You can do it line by line. But will take you ages to cover the space...

You can do it by chunks - ideally. To cover blocks by chunks make sure that you cover an area without any ghosties occupying it.

Powerups are also available to enhance the gameplay.

1. Giant Pill - Ghost will become scared of you because you can devour them.

2. Cherry - This will boost your speed so you could pass from wall to wall faster... but this powerup can also bring you to your doom coz pacman became harder to control coz he's faster.

3. Banana - Ghost will move slower.

4. Icepop - All ghost freezes for a while so you could do everything you want.

There are also different types of ghost that appears as you go on higher stages.

Is Diablo III ever coming out?

We all love playing Diablo on our computers, it is one of those games that cuts deeply into our gaming soul. With a not-so-complicated gameplay and immersive storyline Blizzard's Diablo franchise surely did a good job. When Diablo III was released years ago, I spent nights of playing, I got so addicted to the game that I finished the game with every character then comes the Diablo II expansion - though the characters included was not that exiciting, still I became addicted to it. Then like rain, the addiction suddenly disappeared.

Now there are alot of rumors in the net the Diablo III will be realeased this November I was looking forward for it but it looks like that it's still a rumor. It's alread mid-november and no advertisement whatsoever are seen about the future release of the game. If Blizzard is really creating Diablo III why don't they give any announcement that they are doing it? Maybe its because of the Star Craft II hype. I doubt that Blizzard will shove 2 great games up our addictive butts in the same year, that'll drastically divide the market.

I read that rumors bout the development of Diablo III are realted from job postings on Blizzard's page, saying that they are looking for four new employees: Art Director, Lead 3D Environment Artist, Lead 3D Character Artist, Lead 3D Character Animator. Each post beings with "The team behind Diablo I and II is looking for a ... to work on an unannounced PC Project." So speculations about the development of Diablo III arises, so if they are really developing Diablo III why do they need to hire a new Art Director, Lead 3D enviroment Artist and other lead positions? Where do the leads positions of Diablo II went?

Some say that all of the orginal team that worked for Blizzard / Blizzard North left and formed Flagship Studio's, the makers of Hellgate London. Well Hellgate London pretty seems like a good looking Diablo clone... so if Diablo III are really to be realeased... kind of game enchancements would they comeup with? If they turn Diablo III into an MMORPG... well maybe it'll rock but I won't they just end up like the copy of Hellgate London? (without the bugs I hope). But this is a long shot, Blizzard is still up their asses with WoW so realeasing a new MMORPG will really complicate things for them.

Some rumors also states that D3's story will be in heaven, coz Hell directly invades heaven so instead of travelling across the land, you'll be doing the adventure in heaven... now thats promising, I wonder what will heaven look like in Blizzard's eye. All I can imagine are clouds and furry cute animals. If its MMORPG then we already have 3 worlds: Heaven, Human World and Hell cool isnt it?

Well as for now all of these are rumors, if there's no official announcement from Blizzard then everything that comes out will automatically be a rumor... But god its already what?? 6-7 years? The long wait is driving Diablo fans crazy that they're starting to have girlfriends, new peers and a life! LOL!

Final Fantasy 7 is the first installment of the Final Fantasy Series in Sony Playstation. A huge leap in terms of graphics, sounds and gameplay but still retaining important elements in the game. Final Fantasy 7 is the first PS game that span up to 3 disc making the game a long and unforgettable journey.

So we all know that the game really rocks and for all the RPG fans out there, playing FF7 makes the passion of playing RPG's stronger. So if thats how big of a fan you are to the game, how many times did you play it? I personally played this game 5 times, everygame is enjoyable and in everygame I discover something. During those days, I never check the internet for FAQs and game help guides so every part of the game is a mystery.

The first time I finished the game, I was not able to defeat the WEAPONS and I don't have the Ultima sword and Knights of the Round and other summoning materias. I finished the game with my characters only at level 70's making the final battle with Sepiroth a real challenge. So after the game some of my friends told me that theres a Golden chocobo in the game and other stuffs. So I played the game again this time walking on every corners looking for things that I might have missed, and do I missed alot of things.

This time I got most weapons and items that I was not able to acquire during my first run on the game... but I feel something is still missing.. the fact that I havent defeated the WEAPONS yet is enough to make me think. So I played the game again, this time I discovered that you can create master materia's in Bugenhagens laboratory. So I created every master materia that is available in the game till all my main characters have each one on them (I really dont need to equip all of them, only 3 are allowed to fight anyway.) So there I finished the game again... then the reason I played the game for another 2 tries is this...

THE RUMOR THAT AERIS CAN BE REVIVED....

This damn rumor really got me! I havent checked the internet for the possibility that the information I heard was incorrect, I just become so excited that Aeris can be brought to life, and all you have to do is be nice to her and not TIfa, have her in your party, collect several items and other stuffs.

I really thought the rumor was real because I got Aeris's final limit break and her ultimate weapon... why would they put this items in the game if no-one will use it? So I played the game again, reached level 99 at the start of disc , been nice to Aeris all the way collected the items.... went to the Ancient forest... and there... Aeris was killed... the rumor stated that Tifa would be the one killed in there instead of Aeris... dissapointed at that point but the love of the game still got me going, defeated all the WEAPONS this time, especially RUBY the hardest one I ever fought till I accidentally cast Hades and found him frozen for a bit of time.

Finished the game again and then heard another rumor... the rumor that there's another way to revive Aeris... so I played the game again! I really enjoyed playing it coz what I do is level up my characters so early in the game that most bosses that are stinking hard before become cheesecakes. Especially if you unleash meteor storm or Ungarmax at early bosses.

This time I spent lots and lots of hours in Golden Saucer playing the games that give items that will revive Aeris, collected all small soldiers I can find in Junon before the Junon disaster I really don't know the significance of these items but I enjoyed collecting them so... no problem!

So there, reached the ancient forest again and wham! Aeris died, I love the scene where the materia (which I tried locating after the scene even though its clear that it was under that lake) bounced on the pillars... la la la la la la la la la la la la la... (BG music). I liked it so much that I'm not sick of watching it, the background music always affects me - tears during the first time I played now just a whimper of sadness... (because Aeris died - even after everything I done).

After the final failure I finally told myself that Aeris was not meant to be revived, so start playing Xenogears and move on!! So I unpacked my Xenogears CD and thats another story...

I really love RPG...

Kon's Big Trouble - for all the Bleach fans out there!

Another game by Ultimate Flash Game Archive - this is a tribute for all Bleach fans out there! Kon's Big Trouble is a fast phased shooting game where you control Ichigo and throw your sword at Kon. The object of the game is to reach your goal score by whacking Kon as he pops out around the area of the game screen.

Kon is not the only modified soul in the game though, Ririn, Noba and Kuroud each appearing as the game progresses. You need to reach a certain goal score within 60 seconds in the game to progress to the next level, so if you miss often chances are you will not have enough score till you run out of time. The game offers several ways to score big, and each mods have different score when you shoot them.

1. Kon = 10 pts.
2. Ririn = 50 pts.
3. Kuroud = 100 pts.
4. Noba = 200 pts.

Mods with bigger points like Noba and Kuroud appear a little less than Kon and Ririn so if they appear, make sure that you shoot them to earn big points. Kuroud from time to time flies above, and Noba appear by opening portals at several places on the stage. So if you heard the portal opening, look for Noba coz he is worth 200 pts!

Another way to earn points is to do chain attacks. You can perform chain attacks by consecutively attacking a mod without missing. The longer the chain, the higher the chain attack bonus.

3 consecutive attacks + 50pts. -- Good!
5 consecutive attacks + 100 pts. -- Great!
8 consecutive attacks + 150 pts. -- Excellent!

As the game progresses the goal score becomes higher so make sure that you stock lots of points earlier in the stage so you would not have a hard time coping up.

The sounds used in the game are parts of Bleach official sound track like Comical World and Enemies unseen.

Manhunt 2 - Killing time by means of killing.

Rockstar Games maker of the popular Grand Theft Auto titles just released the highly controversial game, Manhunt 2. Games with Murder, sex and profanity are nothing but cheesecakes to Rockstar games, that's how their games got alot of media attention and thus negative publicity turns into actual sales, Besides - negative publicity is still publicity.

The game is so controversial that some parts of the game was actually removed - given Rated M for mature (not allowed for players under the age of 17) because of its gory and disturbing content. In the game, you play as Dr. Daniel Lamb an escapee of the Dixmor Asylum for the Criminally Insane. Injected with a drug that turns him into a maniacal murdering pity of a man which basically makes the whole game with a bit of story to backup the killings.

Manhunt 2 provides players with different ways to "murder" people. Different weapons and tools like axes and knives are available for the picking. The funny thing about the game is that you can also use regular objects to kill people like a shovel, broken glass and even a plastic bag... imagine the game teaching players how to kill people with a plastic bag...

But Manhunt 2 is not all but killing people, although the game is pretty much a "killing spree" kinda game it also has a drama on it... trying to find out what the heck is really happening gives enough space for humanity... although the protagonist is an insane killing psycopath.

So for all mature gamers out there, the game is available for the Sony PS2, PSP and Nintendo Wii - I would also like to point out that the Nintendo Wii version of the game is the most controvesial of all, why? Because of Wii's wireless motion-sensing controllers! So if you are going to kill someone in game, you have to do the killing moves your self like stabbing and whacking someones head off... great isnt it?

I give this game a 4/10 score due to the extreme violence, because of the simple belief that we play games to enjoy and immerse ourselves in a land of fantasy... and not to get psycologically disturbed especially not to have a 101 tutorial on how to kill a person using a plastic bag.

This game is not recommended to persons under the age of 17 and people over the age of 60 (Because they might get a heart attack) and also to those who gets heavily influenced by games easily.

My Top 10 video game characters

It's been haunting my mind lately in fact its bothering me, after visiting gamefaqs the other day, I saw that in one bracket of the character battle, the vote contestants were Solid Snake, L-Block, Sonic the Hedgehog, Squall Leonhart so I vote for Squall Leonhart coz he's cute and he is one of my favorite Final Fantasy characters... Then I checked the results and guess what... The leading character is the L-block!! for those who are not familiar what an L block is, it’s a piece of block in the tetris game, here play tetris and look for a block that is L shaped.

My god, that piece of ... thing beat Squall! Now why is it? Maybe it’s a fad or something, maybe because it’s funny... So I've been thinking... who are the best characters that I played? In all the characters I played... who is number one? So I came up a list of my top 10 video game character.

10. Chun-li - Even though I'm not really an avid fan of fighting game, I see Chun-li as the idol of many girl fighters out there. She's pretty and the only girl in the first release of street fighter. Kicking Ryu and Ken's butts, girl power!

09. Gokou - Why is he on the list? Simple, dragon ball Z games = Gokou! Any DBZ games Gokou is the main character. Maybe I'll create a game where Vegeta is the hero.

08. Donkey Kong – Loved the Donkey Kong adventure games in SNES, this popular Gorilla knows the moves. Not only as the hero, has he also played as the villain in classic games like the Mario barrel jumping game. Play it here

07. Rockman/Megaman - Kicking robotic butts is his game; I just can't understand why he can’t finish of Dr.Willy? That old evil inventor should have rheumatism after the first two games. But he's a lovable character nonetheless a blue little hero at first and as the video game industry involved turns into a bigger blue hero  with detailed body aesthetics.

06. Mog - if you are an avid final fantasy fan then you’ll know why I picked him. It’s because he is only final fantasy character that traversed the through the FF generation. Aside from being cute and funny looking, the mog always important roles in the game, they sell stuff or even fight with you. The only mog rendition I hated was the mogs in Final Fantasy XII my god I hated them, they looked like aliens!

05. Sonic – very fast, very agile the mascot of Zega, this cute character always makes my computer screen move so fast that it makes me feel a bit dizzy, like being in a roller coaster ride. Sonic can even turn himself to Super Sonic (Super Saiyajin Sonic) Where all the hair in this body turns yellow and spiky… seems familiar eh?

04. Vincent Valentine - This mysterious dude captured my heart in the Final Fantasy Dirge of Cerberus and Advent Children. He just looks so fantastic and the way he talks and fights… awesome. Been experimented by Hojo, his DNA was altered to an extent that he can change his being from human to monsters, thus giving him more power. He never aged because the experiment, 2 7 in look but 60 in actual age count.

03. Mario – the epic character Mario, he is considered to be the most famous character in video game history. Mario appeared in more than a hundred game of different genre racing games, puzzle games, role-playing games, fighting games, sports games, and many others. First appearing in Donkey Kong and later in his own Mario Bros game.

02. Rinoa Heartilly - Outspoken, spirited, emotional, and honest with her feelings, she speaks her mind without reservation. (Wikipedia) She’s was designed as cute not gorgeous making her even more likable. She’s the love interest of Squall Leonhart the protagonist of Final Fantasy VIII, a jolly girl who’s not easily offended by Squall’s shady moods. Aside from being cute, she’s also strong, being a member of a resistance group in Timber and was often referred as the princess.

01. Sephiroth – Now why is Sephiroth the number one character, not Cloud or Squall or other great guys out there… Simple.. Sephiroth in my opinion is the ultimate villain. We know that like all villains, he seek to end all humanity but unlike many villain Sephiroth started out as a cool and kind member of SOLDIER until he found out something that made him lose his senses. Sephiroth is also a villain that doesn’t need others, he don’t have an army or a troop to aid him in his plans and that’s very cool, so I picked him as the number 1 video game character that I played.

So that’s it, as you can see I’m a big Final Fantasy Fan so most of the characters I picked was from the Final Fantasy Game, especially Final Fantasy 7.

Sniper Assasin is the first game developed for Ultimate Flash Game Archive (http://www.ultimateflashgame.com). It is a flash based strategic shooting game that follows a certain plot.

The game starts with a mission to kill a certain Mr.Johnson, CEO of the largest textile company in the US. Apart from the texttile business the company also is the biggest distributor of cocaine in the world, thus making him the target of killing.

The gameplay is simple, the object of the game is to shoot a target on screen before the target leaves the area and without shooting any civilian casualties. The mission will fail depending on mission conditions, some mission requires you to shoot only a specific target from a bunch of people walking around, eliminate guards before they sound the alarm etc.

So its basically a good idea to read the briefing first before starting a mission. Or if you are too lazy to read the briefing, you can still find clues to your target via the mission notes on the lower part of the game screen.

The game is still under development, only 6 stages are available as of the moment but as the days progresses new installments for this game will be available for playing.

For those who onced owned a Playstation console back in 98 then this game should be familiar to you, if not maybe youre of the gamers who prefer hackslash action packed game. Anyway, Final Fantasy tactics was first introduced to me by accident, I asked a friend of mine to look for a Final Fantasy 7 Disc 4 - rumor has it that its been sold around and it features interesting information about FF7 including videos of all limit breaks, ultimate weapons and most of all a guide on how to avoid the death of Aeris (making the disc a huge rumor). When my friend came back from shopping, she gave me the disc and found out thats its a Final Fantasy game, but not related whatsoever to Final Fantasy 7.

This started my journey to the Land of Ivalice and now, Square Enix is releasing this title again for the PSP. For those who are not familiar with the story heres a brief runover. The story takes place in the fictional kingdom of Ivalice, a country where castles and forts are the stronghold of nobles, the church is a powerful religious and political entity, and warring factions fight for dominance over the land. The sudden death of the king, whose heir is only an infant rose problems to the kingdom. A regent is needed to rule in place of the prince and because of this the kingdom is split between the Black Lion - Prince Goltana, and the White Lion - Prince Larg. Thus starting the conflict in the game that is called the Lion War.

Behind this plot a revelation by the game's historian Alazlam J. Durai, who seeks to reveal the story of an unknown character whose role in the Lion War was major but was covered up by the kingdom's church. The setting is based around this character, named by default as Ramza, and revolves around his early life and the future conflicts he faced while the events that changed the kingdom unfold... and these events I will not reveal.

The plot seems confusing at first escpecially for those players who don't bother to read the dialouges, just bashing the keys to continue fighting. The PSP version War of the Lions makes the characters and the story of this game come to life in all-new fully animated sequences that combines hand-drawn animation and computer graphics. Full voice overs for the english version of the game adds a new flavor to the game.

Gameplay enhancements such as new jobs to choose, new characters and english translations will surely grab your precious attention. War of the Lions also
features a way for you and your friends to experience Final Fantasy Tactics together with its new all-new multiplayer function or team up in the all-new co-operative mode where you can play head to head battles againts your friends or try to battle advanced AI opponents.

All in all, the game is a must play not only even for those who have played the Final Fantasy Tactics console version. With its beautifully animated cutscenes, new jobs and multiplayer experience you can submerge yourself to the land of Ivalice again and get the gaming satisfaction you deserve.

A treat for comic book fanatics, Marvel Ultimate Alliance is a must have for comic book readers and pure gamers alike. If you've played Spider Man Separation anxiety in SNES before then youll surely know how it feels like to have the craving to control more super heroes. Most comic book hero have their own video game, where you can only control 1 or 2 characters for the whole length of the game, though enjoyable, the crave of controlling more characters will still haunt a player and this thirst my friends was quenched by Raven Software, the makers of Xmen Legend, a diablo style game that is focuses on the adventures of our mutant friends.

Now comes Marvel Ultimate Alliance, with over 20 unique playable heroes with unique fighting ablities, special skills and killer moves, not to mention the hidden extras. This game is the biggest piece of Marvel Super Heroes blowout ever released. The game starts with Dr. Doom bringing together a group of supervillains called the Masters of Evil, their mission - to attack the S.H.I.E.LD. Obviously, a group of superheroes was formed by S.H.I.E.LD to help them out, lead by Nick Fury the team's coordinator, he takes command of the objectives the superheroes are to embark into.

Talking about supervillains, the number of supervillains in this game is outstanding! Enemies like Galactus, Mephisto, the Mandarin and Rhino.. they even include other villains like Black Heart, M.O.D.O.K and more! Youll never know who to face in this game making every mission exciting.

Lets now go to the list of heroes. Ultimate Alliance consists of Captain America, Thor, Spider-Man, and Wolverine at the start of the game. Other playable characters are hidden in shadow which will be unlocked during the course of the story. Heroes like the complete heroes of Fantastic 4, Iron Man, some X-men characters and some heroes who maybe familiar to you coz they play a bit of roles on comic book stories like Spider Woman or Luke Cage... You can even play as Deadpool in this game, not only that you can also play as Ghost Rider and Blade! Seems like the list never ends eh?!

The gameplay is fairly simple, you command a group of four superheroes - YES FOUR! and fight your way through enemies, gaining experience and level while fighting thus gaining new abilities for you to use. This part is where I love this game, the abilities are not given to you right-on, you have to level your character for a bit to gain them. Making the game not repetitive... imagine having tons of characters to choose from with different abilities that you can pull out... commanding 4 at a time meaning you can choose the mix of characters you like.. like play as the Fantastic 4 team, or play as an all girls hero team something like that!

You can choose to automate your other characters if the fight gets too heavy, you can specify if you like them to act like a team player or a crazy war freak maniac. Its not all button smashing kinda game play, there are some objects in the game that you can carry and throw at your enemies, you can use your special skills and you can also do positive buffs to your team.

This game is a real must have for all of you gamers out there and I really recommend this game. But be warned, this game was not created without cheats, and you can surely cheat this game. A word of advice, never cheat this game until you played and finished it once... playing this game with cheats will make it dull and unentertaining... this goes for all the games out there.

So grab this game now and start having fun with tons of your Marvel superheroes friends!

Lets just pray that there will be a DC-Marvel Mega Ultimate Alliance in the near future, that will be really awesome!

Final Fantasy XIII

The very first installment of Final Fantasy in the new Playstation 3, I played Final Fantasy XII on my Playstation 2 but like most FF fans, I hated it... for several reasons like gameplay, character development... if its not a Final Fantasy game, I would probably loved it but since I'm looking forward to a FF that follows the FF gameplay genre I hated it.

Now Im hoping big time that Final Fantasay XIII wont dissapoint me, like many FF fans, we want the classic turn base ATB fighting style. Maybe they can have the monsters crawling about but when engaged in battle I want to have it "staged" based or if its possible return the the materia concept.

According to gamespot.com during the press conference preview of FFXIII the battle system kinda look like the one on the picture, it seems... I dunno.. maybe a few controls and the character will do something on screen but does not seem to be staged based but realtime battle style, but with a twist. The main character of FFXIII is a girl (yey!) armed with pistols that can turn into a dagger.

The video trailer of FFXIII excites me alot, the battle system looks like a fast control based system where you enter the actions and the characters will do it around the screen in an action packed cinematic kinda way. Very cool actually! If the actual final game moves as quickly as was shown in the trailer, and with as many dramatic camera angles, we're in for a treat when it comes to FFXIII's combat and in-game graphics.

From the trailer we can already tell that we are in for something tremedously exciting, for those who still doesnt own a PS3 I think FXIII is a very good reason to start scratching your credit cards :) . SquareEnix really keep on the hype by giving only bits and pieces of info regarding the game, damnit the excitement is making me crazy!!! Millions of fans are waiting for its official release and I bet once released, we can see another huge step in the advancement of gaming revolution.

First of all Happy Halloween to all you chumps out there! The day of spooky and cuteness, where kids roam the streets in cute "scary" costumes for trick or treat.

This Halloween the game I would like you guys to try is The House, this game was released about a few years ago and for those who already tried it, this is the time of the year to play it again, and for those who havent played it... I highly recommend that you play this game. Actually I INSISTS that you play this game!

The House is a click-on-objects kind of game, not much interaction but the graphics, environment and the sounds really makes up for it. The main goal of the game is to find a way to exit the house by going through different rooms, each with different story to tell and surprises to present.

Heres my review for this game.

Gameplay 6/10
Not much score on gameplay coz theres not much interactivity in the game, you dont have to do anything but click... think.. click... when your lost try clicking everything.. just click click click.. I think that way youll be more focused on whats happening on screen rather that focus on other things.

Sound 10/10
Cant help myself, I just have to give this game a perfect score when it comes to the sounds... the effects are well timed, the background music is well blended with the environment and the situation... and the Ump! was very well used.

Addiction Level 5/10
Why 5/10?? maybe its just a personal prefference but how can I get addicted to a game so frickin scary?? The game is so great that I wont get addicted to it, but I'll share it to everyone. I only played this game a couple of times... got too scared to continue on my first try so I played it a couple more just to finish the entire game.

Overall 7/10
The ratings I gave the game is unfair... I know but Im just telling on my personal preference.. the game is so amazingly scary that I cant give it a high addiction rating, all you have to do is click so I cant give a higher gameplay rating, the sounds used in the game are fantastic so I gave it a perfect score.. the overall theme is 10 if I have the rating... But still I highly recommend this game, just a reminder... this game is not for the weak... like me hehehe.

For best playing experience, play alone, shut the lights, max your speaker volume... and play the game..

Zombie Horde

Stayed late the other night because of playing Zombie Horde. The game is a basic shooting game where you kill zombies that are going to get a bite out of you. What made me stayed late playing this game is that the game offers various weapons upgrade which are expensive making it difficult to try everything in one go at the game.

And I think you need to have enough experience playing this game to get much from it and I love the challenge.

The only downside that I found is that at certain levels where tons of enemies are walking around, the game slows down. Its ok if it slows down but you can still shoot, but when it slows down your aiming becomes sloppy. They included an option to lower the game resolution but it doesnt seem to work in some level.

But aside from this flaw, this game ROCKS - now I have eyebags to take care of. I'll play this game again later I wanna try having the decapitator as a weapon.

While browsing my facebook account I saw the ad in my network about Dumbledore being gay... first I thought this is just some rumor, but I clicked the link and it took me to CNN.com... suprisingly the rumor about Dumbledore being gay is TRUE! Oh. My. God.

Imagine the Hogwarts School of Magic Headmaster... gay... nothing againts gay people but its just surprising, after reading all 7 books and watching all movies... this comes, and not only that, the report also states that J.K. Rowling said that Dumbledore was smitten with his with rival Gellert Grindelwald.

Disorderly Review - Newgrounds

Disorderly, a game from newgrounds.com is a very interesting game, the concept is not very original... in someway or another but the concept is brutal!

Disorderly is a Janitor working on the home for the aged, he was summoned by his manager and was told to do the unforgivebable for a chance of being promoted..

The object of the game is very simple, BEAT UP EVERY OLD PEOPLE AROUND YOU! well you really have to beat them up and there's no room for mercy since all of them have fighting techniques to dice you to pieces.

Here are my review for this game.

Gameplay 7/10

The smooth and funny animation is a plus for this game but the downside is the controls, punching the enemies does not seem effective since they can still harm you even if they are getting hit. There are many funny actions that Disorderly can do, like pickup an old man and whack the other old people with him, he also have a power move but you cant use it often because it will drain your energy.

Sound 5/10

Generic whak!, Phak sounds although the background music is ok, its not that good to bring out the hype in the game.

Addiction level 6/10

If you really love whacking old people or you think of your old math teacher while playing this game, then this game will be very addicting for you, but if you don't applaud such behavior and you dont like the object of the game itself then its a different story.

Overall 6/10

This game may show quality in animation but the gameplay pulls most of it down, the theme may not be suitable for young children and some adults as well.

A very simple game about some old guy pulling out gold from under the ground, It may look lame but once you start playing the game you will surely be "hooked". Powerups can be bought from a mexican that can help you once per stage. I suggest saving your money though and just buy the bottle with xxx label on it, if you want to reach the higher levels.

This is how I rate this flash game

Game Play 8/10

A very basic and easy to get hang-to game play, theres no need to read through tons of instructions all you have to do is look at the instruction in a glance and play away! Very easy to understand, you have to beat the gold requirement at every stage and do your best to collect as much gold as possible within the time limit.

Sound 4/10

This is the only part that I hate about this game is that it does not have sound effects that will capture you, I like eary background music since its a mining cave, the sound effects whenever you got a hold of stuffs is good but I think its better if they have a different sound effect whenever you hooked a diamond and a large chunk of gold.

Addiction level 9/10

you can never have enough gold! and youll play this game over and over again till your satisfied.

Overall 7/10

This game fun and addicting, its not gory or anything so anyone in your home can play it.

After reading much about the power of blogging when it comes to web advertising, it struck me... by the way, my name is Ann Lucas Winters of San Diego California and this is my first blog. Been working for a some guy/company in San Fran as a freelance web developer and now I created my first project..

The Ultimate Flash Game Archive website. Its a baby project so I have a bit number of games for now, but I'm updating everyday so expect it to blow into a real flash game archive.

So why am I interested in gaming?

May are asking me this question since most people see that guys= gaming and not girls... another one of those stereotype thinking. This has got to stop coz like me I love games so much that Im pretty much addicted to it that I made my own archive. Gaming for me is like escape from reality, I do play MMORPGS I'll tell you more about it in my other post but right now I'm focusing on cute and kickass flash games that are developed by geeky groups out there winks*** I love you guys!

I'm thinking of posting game reviews here even reviews on other game platforms not just flash games. Right now my only gaming console here is a Sony PS2 and I love every bit of it.
